A family favourite over the years, this little restaurant continues to deliver on delicious food cooked so well. You can't go past the oysters, spaghetti vongole and grilled scampi, not to mention the tiramisu! Bring your own favourite bottle of wine and enjoy. Service can be a little slower than expected with somewhat outdated decor and menus but for us,... More

Freezing air-conditioning, deafening noise from neighbouring tables, very ordinary pasta which took an hour to arrive - the excuse of "the kitchen is busy" is not acceptable when they have taken the bookings for the evening. Hadn't been back for 10 years - and won't ever be back again.

I cannot say that we had bad food but we definitely did not have authentic Italian food. We ordered a pasta with salmon that was drowning in cream and some gnocchi that were pretty much the same as the ones you can get at the supermarket The chocolates that they gave us with the bill however were really good All... Woollahra is known for some great restaurants, so this one was a little disappointing. The front area looks lovely and inviting, but we were seated at the back, which is pretty stark and uninspiring. The staff also tends to forget you if you're at the back. Food is nice enough, and if you really want Italian, there's not a lot... More

This little family restaurant has been in the same place for decades, and the menu has hardly changed. Perhaps that is because you don't need to change if the food is great! Terrific prawns, the barbequed baby squid was a taste sensation and the fillets of barramundi (for one of us) and snapper were succulent, delicious and just perfectly flavoured... More

Good quality traditional Italian food. The seafood pasta’s are really nice. The restaurant is a intimate although felt a little overcrowded.

Yep, the authenticity is there. So there was no pretention with service or presentation. Pricey to the point I'm just going to eat at Buon ricordo next time. The bread was stale, the flavours of the pastas lacked punch and depth. At least it wasn't dry like other Italian places. I won't be falling over to come back, it's consistently... More
