When it's cold and wet what better for lunch than a bowl of pho. We haven't tried Vietnamese in Box Hill so we looked for somewhere crowded. My wife picked the beef and i went for the roast chicken - small medium and large bowls are offered and we chose the medium after seeing the large. When they arrived it... More

Birthday lunch on a cold rainy Friday afternoon just had to be Pho. Having returned to Melbourne from Sydney after 14 years meant that this was possibly going to be a hit or miss event. A quick search online pointed at Box Hill. There was a great choice but Pho 888 kept coming to the top of the list in... More

Visit here often. Great food every time. Quick service in and out which is great for a quick lunch. Always busy but always serve you quickly.

We have very bad experience. The egg noodles was not properly cooked, the pork slices were very tough and the soup was salted. Shall we come back - no Value for money - no

Been going to this place for many years. I usually stick to the Pho Tai (sliced rare beef in broth with noodles, chilli, beanshoots and vietnamese mint ). Very tasty and fresh. Served within a few minutes of ordering. Restaurant always busy with locals at lunch and in the evening which is always a good sign! Great value for money.

A no fuss lunch and served very fast. The price is about $11 a bowl and it comes with bean sprout and Vietnamese mint. A typical cafe style and this shop has perfected its pho.

After a lazy day in bed we decided to lift ourselves from our funk. Usually a pho hit is had on the road for work in Richmond or Collingwood. A weekend dose had us scrambling for ideas. Being close-ish to Box Hill we headed there & we are two very happy, albeit bloated peeps. I had the rare beef pho... More

My girlfriend and I have been going to Pho 888 for over 3 years now. The food is absolutely delicious, the staff are great and the prices are terrific. Some of the best Pho I've had in Melbourne.

Been to this restaurant a couple of times in the past. There was a vacant parking meter spot in front of the restaurant so we stopped for lunch in the traffic packed Boxhill. The restaurant appeared to have been somewhat updated with a more extensive menu and there were at least 20 customers when we arrived. We ordered the #1... More

my partner and I visited Pho888 early April 2015 & ordered sliced chicken pho & beef vermicelli. Whilst better meals can be had in Victoria st Richmond the service was good and both meals tastey. If you're after a quick bite and good value for money, give Pho a go.
