This wonderful gourmet Frankston restaurant with lovely gardens on the creek is sadly now closed forever. Nothing to touch it for atmosphere - a truly elegant but relaxed experience.

Was nice but thought with the price we paid it could've been much better. Wait staff left us waiting to take order for a long time even though there was only a couple of other people there. Overall nice atmosphere, little bit crowded seating. For...More

I believe its closed. Although I am hoping it is only due to the slower traffic over the winter months as the property is still well kept, it does nuot look great.

According to their webpage - they have closed permanently - no explanation or reasons given. For people that have paid gift vouchers for this place - not sure if they are affiliated to any of the other Boathouse Rest.

First timers but our buddies had dined there several times before and highly recommended it. Looked pretty average from the outside but the inside is cosy and aesthetically pleasing. But we all know restaurants should be about the food; and boy was it great. Each...More

Went here for their special Friday night Fish and Chips ($20) The fish was very disappointing - dry and lacked flavour with soggy batter. Fish was served on top of the chips, so they ended up soggy too. Service was O.K. Wine was good!

Lovely looking little place which appeared to be popular and busier than other local places we’ve visited. The service was fine and the price ok. The reason I’ve only gone average is that I didn’t really enjoy my chicken meal choice. The dish was overpowered...More
