I dined here early - shortly after opening (5.00 pm) on a Sunday evening; it was Locals' Curry Night - with a $20 all-the-curry-you-can-eat option. The inside of the restaurant is a little like Aladdin's Cave - very atmospheric; I chose to eat outdoors - because I was alone and not wanting to crowd out hipster coupled and gangs. Not... More

Went with two kids (6&3) for an early dinner yesterday after reading the reviews here. We really enjoyed the Indian-style nachos (like a deconstructed samosa chat) and a spinach pattie curry. Kids demolished the garlic parathas. The atmosphere was very relaxing - a spotless open kitchen, easy going & helpful service, Bollywood silent movies being projected against one wall, and... More

I loved this restaurant, it was such a surprise! There are old black and white Indian movies being projected onto the back wall of this old grain mill. Brightly painted chairs, cute menus and posters cheered up the otherwise dark room. The food was OK but I would have liked better choices on the menu - butter chicken just doesn't... More

Fantastic curries!!! I believe this restaurant is linked to horn please in Brunswick.... wonderful fresh curries that are not at all oily or heavy. Great wine and beer selection too! Highly recommend

Seven of us went for Friday dinner and the samosas were the best I've ever tasted. Good Indian fare and very friendly, if not over knowledgeable, staff.

The food is very nice though there isn't a huge menu it changes from time to time. Excellent curry any time I've been. The location and the old mill from the 1800s meshed with Bollywood is also worth the visit. Recommended.
