I had a kofta burger with potatoes. It was delicious and so filling. There's an interesting shop connected to this place that we spent loads of time looking through. I love supporting local independent businesses!

Lovely atmosphere and wonderfully decorated, clean & welcoming. The food is very different the spices are a nice change from the everyday food you'd get from a cafe. I can't say I was completely happy with my meal the meat was very dry & hard...More

Interesting, traditional and surprising twists. Service was a little hit and miss at a quiet time. Not convinced about the Shiraz drinks but coffee better.

Excellent mezze, Jibne Spene (cheese & spinach stuffed bread), shaslik, beef kofta, superb Ras el Hanout cocktails and frou frous (house made fruit sodas). Fresh, delicious and very generous serves - we needed to retire to the squishy couch in the corner for a while...More

The Cafe is North African in inspiration ...Moroccan we thought with a name like the fabled city of "Fez". The food, decor and Bazaar are all flavoured with a Moroccan feel. A definite Aladdin's cave of food and treasures for the home decorator, so after...More

We loved the food at this cafe. Coffee was great. Took our dogs into the open courtyard. Excellent atmosphere co-located with the asian import homewares.

No, we were there today as planned to have breakfast as we had heard it was good and the menu look interesting , but the greeting was average and it was way too cold to actually stay and eat so we left .

Description
Open seven days a week for breakfast and lunch, and Friday nights for dinner & banquets, Cafe Fez presents a unique atmosphere - a treasure trove of twinkling Moroccan lanterns, silver teapots and colourful woven cushions. Featuring a traditional menu of Middle-Eastern favourites, a 100 mile wine list, frou-frou fruit sodas and a quixotic array of cocktails, this chilled out little gem is the perfect place to relax with a group or snuggle up to a beau (or belle) in one of the low-slung cushioned booths. A dining experience is as much about theatre as it is about food: Moroccan mint tea arrives on a silver tray and a waitress pours it into an ornate tea glass three times to infuse it. Sitting at Café Fez under the twinkling of coloured glass lanterns with steam curling luxuriously from your tea amid the shelves of spices, you are transported momentarily to Safi or Fez. The brilliant thing is that here you don't need a plane ticket.
