The Loveless Cafe has been in continuous operation for many years at the same site in Western Nashville. Country ham, grits, fried green tomatoes, everything a southerner (like me) or a wannabee can hope for. The lines form early and last all day. Everything is amazing.

They say all breakfast is the same--not true! This place is awesome! We hit Nashville a couple times a year, but this was our first time at Loveless. My wife had the biscuit sampler plate-great idea. The country fried steak literally covers a whole dinner plate and those biscuits are what southern biscuits should be. Not right in town, but... More

My husband and I were referred to this restaurant by some friends that had eaten there in the past. This place is AWESOME! We arrived at 10:30 to have brunch...we did not have a wait, however, after we arrived it became very busy and a line formed. Very friendly staff throughout, excellent southern food and reasonable prices. We will certainly... More

I so highly recommend the breakfast. Get there fast because , it gets packed fast. Alot of famous people have ate here. Wall to wall pictures of them with autographs. The biscuits? Wow! So worth the money ( not expensive). The staff is also very polite, and great.

Remains one of the great breakfast experiences of the South. Set aside any dietary concerns and pack in those biscuits, grits and country ham with red-eye gravy. I certainly could not eat like that every day, but once in awhile it is heaven. They no longer take reservations for smaller parties, but that didn't seem to be a problem at... More

This cute little cafe and shopping village is worth the drive from Nashville (20min). We were here on a Thursday around 11am. Our wait was about 25min. That was plenty of time to walk around and do a little shopping. Breakfast was delicious. The biscuits are really amazing and the strawberry jam was the best I've ever tasted.

My wife and I made it our first stop in Nashville and I have to say, it was worth every bit. The breakfast was simply excellent. Biscuits are to die for and the gravely is the best I have ever tasted. Server was great and very cordial. We will definitely stop here when we come back. It is definitely worth... More

Great experience! Food was very good, biscuits and jam were SO GOOD, our waitress (Susan) was awesome! The place is small and wait time somewhat long, but definitely worth it!

We visited one morning. Very interesting place converting an old motel into a breakfast restaurant and providing novelty items and unusual gifts. We hD to wait about a half hour which provided sufficient time to visit several out buildings etc Will visit again next time in Nashville

Thank CL L

The Loveless Motel and Cafe first started serving its famous fried chicken and biscuits in 1951. A favorite spot to grab a good ole country breakfast for locals and tourists alike, today the Loveless Cafe serves more than 400,000 guests a year and makes between 4,000 to 7,000 biscuits a day, using founder Annie Loveless' original secret recipe. The Food Network awarded the Southern eatery with its best biscuits award in 2010.
