We had already eaten supper somewhere else when the weather suddenly changed our plans for the evening. So, while visiting the Nashville area we just had to try this great place that has been highly recommended from friends back home. We decided to just go back out for dessert. Every member of the staff was very friendly. Our waiter was... More

My family and I visited the Loveless Cafe for lunch a couple of weeks before Christmas. It was a Tuesday around 11:00 am and fairly busy. However, there was no wait. I ordered the peach barbecue chicken which was delicious. However, it is a special that is only served on Tuesdays. For my sides, I had the hashbrown casserole and... More

The Loveless Cafe has great food. Lots of that southern comfort food that we have to have once in a while. Their biscuits are so good, you can buy the makings in one of their gift shops right next door. And their jellies...mmmm. The staff is great, prices are reasonable, and lots of stars have been there; their pictures are... More

It is a ways out of town but it is worth the drive. I happened to be on the Eest side of town and was close so i stopped in for some breakfast. I have no idea what their secret is but the biscuits are always the best I have ever had. I always stop by for some if i... More

Come for the food, but make sure to take in the history of this landmark. The Loveless Cafe has some of the best southern comfort food you can find in Tennessee. Make sure to take a peek at the biscuit making process, and do yourself a favor and try some sorghum molasses.

Came to the Loveless for a dinner as part of a meeting I was a part of. We ate out in the "Barn." The atmosphere was great, the staff was very courteous and helpful, and the meal was excellent. It was served southern style as we passed things around the table. I had the fried chicken, pork chop, mashed potatoes,... More

Their pit cooked barbecue sandwich is out of this world and so are their caramel mashed sweet potatoes. Top notch service. Our waiter was awesome and I recommend the moonshine coffee creamer.

The Loveless Motel and Cafe first started serving its famous fried chicken and biscuits in 1951. A favorite spot to grab a good ole country breakfast for locals and tourists alike, today the Loveless Cafe serves more than 400,000 guests a year and makes between 4,000 to 7,000 biscuits a day, using founder Annie Loveless' original secret recipe. The Food Network awarded the Southern eatery with its best biscuits award in 2010.
