Yamato is so good. Their miso soup and salad are great before each meal. The yummy sauce is the best! I have not eaten anything that I did not enjoy.

Had the steak and chicken hibachi lunch. Food was good and reasonably priced for lunch. Beats the usual burger and sandwich fair in most small towns. Service was very good. I'll be back.

The place was ok but it just did not impress me. The selection was very limited. I ordered the sushi and it was bland and the fish was cut extremely too large and thick to be enjoyable.

Until a few weeks past when we stopped for dinner again and I asked the waitress when I ordered that I would like... More

Glad to see Shelbyville finally has a place for decent sushi. The offerings are not exotic, but contain basic rolls. My service was also very good. Overall, a decent place to eat

My husband and I visited. We noticed that they did not cook the food in front of you but it was fantastic. A lot of food and cooked to perfection. The prices were great for a Japanese restaurant!
