I had a delicious take away delivered from Cafe Mash. I ordered their Cafe Mash Special Curry because I wanted to give their own dish a try and I am glad I did. I ordered it along with Coconut Rice and a Peshwari Naan and...every part of my food was delicious. I will definitely be ordering again.More
We using a restaurant we look for good food, value for money and good service. Our takeaway food was fine, but service and value were very poor. Ordering online we were given a 35 minute time for collection. Due to roadworks we took 40 minutes,...so apologised for being late. However, our food was not ready and we waited a further 45 minutes. The staff apologised for the delay. Clearly, there was a problem dealing with the number of orders and there were raised voices in the kitchen. Arriving home we unpacked and found that one curry was missing, along with the extra popadoms we had ordered. Errors can happen. However, the management were far from helpful, and while we paid by card, they said they could not provide a refund this way. After five days we are still waiting for the refund.More
Customer service here is above and beyond, and the food well we wouldn't go anywhere else the tastiest Indian Cusine for miles. Highly recommended 👌
The best tasting curry I have had in a long time. The food was excellent and was very tasty, arrived nice and warm with good service. Staff were pleasant and restaurant was presentable and clean
Pros :food was amazing, hence the two stars. Cons :service poor- didn’t start well when despite booking, we were asked to stand by the bar and wait (no drink at this stage). There was a sofa nearby, why not invite us to sit there and...give us a menu to browse through? Some paintwork peeling off, made the place look tired and unkept. Not the accommodation you would choose if you were taking someone out to impress or for a special celebration. There were candles on each table but no one could be bothered to light ours. One reason we chose this restaurant was because their website meant warming by the fire. However as we were not seated near it and it was apparently the only source of heat we we’re incredibly cold. I stayed in my thick jumper and heavy winter coat throughout the meal and my nails looked purple it was that chilly. Very unpleasant to eat when you’re feeling that cold. Poor choice of rosé wine, the only sweet Zinfandel available had to be brought by the bottle, no glass of it available. When the bill arrived they had overcharged us for drinks and also added up the total incorrectly, inflating several pounds to our bill. I noticed the error and they corrected it so I would advise any patrons to check everything about their bill correctly.More
After years of driving past I finally decided to book a table and give it a try before putting it down on our curry club visit. On arrival we waited over 15mins before finally asking if we could order a drink, the waiter didn’t seem...to care and walked past the table on several occasions without checking we was ok or clearing plates, two hours later the food arrived after asking the waiter several times. This was repeated again during dinner to have plates removed, something I've never experienced at an Indian restaurant. No apologies after complaining, the only thing that was prompt was the bill and credit card machine. The take away service I could see was being managed promptly, a real shame as the food was good.More
Highly recommend you try Cafe Mash. The food is fantastic and the staff are all very friendly. It never disappoints . 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Fabulous service waiters very attentive without being over the top Food good spiced just as asked. What more can I say?
Absolutely amazing! I rented this restaurant for my daughter's engagement party and everything turned out wonderful because of the caring and helpful staff. Also, all the guests enjoyed the food and everything was served on time.
Very disappointed, the take away service takes priority over people who have made the effort to come to the restaurant and sit down for a meal! We hade drinks brought to us at table after 30 minutes, popadoms 40 minutes after ordering them and told...not sure how long our main meals will be as have to sort out delivery’s firstMore
This place was recommended by a few friends in the vale. The welcome was lovely. The popadoms and pickles were amazing with each one packing lots of flavour! The curries on the menu were beautiful I had the special and my partner had the kind...prawn masala. Both delicious with a depth of flavour and beautiful warming spice. Extremely tasty! My one negative is the place is looking tired, it could do with being painted and the bathrooms were a bit worse for wear. Perhaps we may have a takeaway next time.More

First visit after lockdown and far from trying to catch up Café Mash have taken their offering to a new level. I did not think that could be possible, but it was.
