An employee in a Townsend store told us that this is the best place to eat and recommended the cheeseburgers. We went about 3pm on a Sunday afternoon had to wait about 20 minutes since there are only 10-12 tables. The staff was pleasant and efficient and although it was very busy, the place was very clean. We ordered the... More

Love the food and staff! Hometown feel and quality. The only downside is the place get really busy at lunch and dinner, so get there early. We live in the next town down and feel it's a locals secret

The servers were great. The organization helped with this busy place (because it has such good for food). Plenty to eat and great treats to take with you. The locals eat here and the wait is always worth it. Lunch and dinner served with choices for all.

We've stayed in Townsend, Tn three years in a row and tried most of the restaurants. In my opinion, this is the best thing going in Townsend. Everything is fresh and homemade. I had the fried grouper sandwich with okra. Probably the best okra I've ever eaten. The grouper was delicious and the portion was huge. Wanted to try one... More

Wonderful place to stop for lunch. Everyone was friendly; food was good quality and the wait staff were as nice as they could be. Not many tables, but worth the wait. Will be returning

The best grouper plate you will ever have. Very good service also. We ate here twice this week. Will return the next time we are in Townsend.

I think the key here is to order the right thing. I didn't. Taste of food was just so so. We were told it was the end of the season and they were just open until they ran out of food. Makes you feel real special huh?

Great restaurant, especially judging by the frequent lines of people outside waiting for a table. Good quality food at very reasonable prices. Fried grouper is a must-try! Their daily baked in-house desserts are delicious. We ate here twice on a recent visit to the Great Smoky Mountains.

Busy on a Wednesday night. I ordered the grouper sandwich and my husband ordered a cheeseburger. Good food, good price. Popular enough that at 6 pm they were sold out of coleslaw, potato salad, chili, the daily special and some of the desserts.
