This is a small, down home cafe with delicious food and a HUGE selection of home made desserts. Went twice while in Townsend. Don't be surprised if you have to wait for a table.

Went here with a large hiking group. The Reuben sandwich and hamburgers are amazing. The fries were good. No complaints here. The staff was friendly and prices were reasonable. Will definitely be back..

The quality of the food at this restaurant was not very good at all. (Specifically the meatloaf). It had the consistency of soggy wet bread and no flavor. Could not eat it... we will not return.

An employee in a Townsend store told us that this is the best place to eat and recommended the cheeseburgers. We went about 3pm on a Sunday afternoon had to wait about 20 minutes since there are only 10-12 tables. The staff was pleasant and efficient and although it was very busy, the place was very clean. We ordered the... More

Love the food and staff! Hometown feel and quality. The only downside is the place get really busy at lunch and dinner, so get there early. We live in the next town down and feel it's a locals secret

The servers were great. The organization helped with this busy place (because it has such good for food). Plenty to eat and great treats to take with you. The locals eat here and the wait is always worth it. Lunch and dinner served with choices for all.

We've stayed in Townsend, Tn three years in a row and tried most of the restaurants. In my opinion, this is the best thing going in Townsend. Everything is fresh and homemade. I had the fried grouper sandwich with okra. Probably the best okra I've ever eaten. The grouper was delicious and the portion was huge. Wanted to try one... More
