I stop by Cattleman's Café about once a month for their chicken friend steak. This is truly a throw back Texas café from the mid 1900's. Their chicken fried steak is legendary and for good reason. I always start with their crisp salad with homemade ranch and then here's the secret --- order the chili! Eat about 1/2 and use... More

Just found this place and what a pleasure to find a great small town cafe with great small town food. You must try the steak fingers and the chicken fried chicken. SOOOOO good.

For over the last 3 years I've been riding up to Blue Ridge with my motorcycle friends for Sunday breakfast. Being that there are so many places to choose from to ride and eat at in the general area this place is one of the best! There are always other biker groups there eating too, what does that tell you?... More

It's all about the ambiance here folks, just old school down home cooking with your local people who brighten the decor and visit. Is it Great? Nope, buts it's good enough that I'll keep coming back. and did I mention that the place had... More

We took our motorbikes into the small town of Blue Ridge to check out Cattleman’s Café – We loved it! Om: As long as the food is good, places like this will always get high marks from me. Old restaurants that have stood the test of time in a small town? The food HAS to be good for that to... More

I've been to Cattleman's Cafe several times, and am sure I will be back several more! They offer a diverse array of choices from Chicken Fried Steak, Burgers, Steak, Chicken Tenders, etc. And, in my experience, EVERYTHING is delicious! This hidden gem also offers the BEST Coconut Cream Pie I have ever had! But come early in the week, because... More

This is a very simple, very small town, Cafe. They serve good hamburgers, great fries and fantastic homemade Blue Cheese dressing. Not fancy but very cozy and friendly. Their ribeye steak is a thin cut but very juicy and flavorful. If you like sweet tea, then you are in the right place. The homemade pies are all very tasty too.... More

As stated before, don't let the building fool ya, the place is great ! Had me some eggs over ham, and a side of pancakes. Hash-browns as well. Plenty of coffee, and hot food, good southern hospitality and service. Our server was a wonderful little lady and she was definitely a fireball, had me in stitches. I went with a... More
