Yay! Thank you for stopping by our time machine corner!

We frequently stop here on Sunday after church. My elder son loves the foot long chili cheese hotdog and I agree it is tasty. Any of the hamburgers are sure to satisfy if not downright delight. But the lesser known or appreciated is the fish...More

Ice cream from sugar shack lacked. Not homemade and strictly commercial. The shop has cute red seats and a soda fountain atmosphere. Full of nostalgia. Just don't plan on getting exceptional hand made ice cream!More

I'm glad you enjoyed our slice of step back in time! We don't make our ice cream in house, but we do buy it from a local source. You can always customize your dessert from one of our 20 syrups and toppings and enhance your...More

A great burger joint harkening back to the late 50's and early 60's. Try to get there to the car show when the side street is blocked off and older cars and hot rods are shown on Saturday night. Otherwise its a good burger, fries...More

Thank you for digging our time machine corner! See you at Hot Rod Night!

Soda Pops makes a mean burger. Appropriately named as it reminds me of the old gas stations turned ice house bars with decent bar food, mostly burgers and fries. The burgers are fresh, juicy and cooked to order. The restaurant is ideally located at the...More

Thank you! Thank you! We are exactly that...An old gas station built in the 20s and turned into a Burger Joint and Ice Cream Parlor! We so appreciate you taking the time to spread the love!

Good burgers fun to see old cars. The ice cream shop behind the burger shack makes the best chocolate shakes.

The food was yummy, but expensive (ham and cheese grilled sandwich tasted so good). Seating was kind of awkward and it didn't seem extremely clean, but the 50s/60s atmosphere was cute and our toddlers loved it. The salted caramel ice cream is a must-have. Mmm!More

Hi there! Glad you enjoyed our little place...We strive to have the freshest ingredients and provide the most hospitality! Our restaurant was originally built as an old gas station in the 1920s...We don't think they planned on turning out all these burgers out of their...More

Nice find on July 24th while on vacation. Very cool place, would recommend. My wife enjoyed turkey burger with avocado. Son liked the straight burger, and I enjoyed the grilled chicken on jalapeño bun. Daughter had the corn dog, it's just a normal corn dog,...More

My family and I were in Boerne for over a week, and this is the only place we dined more than once. Hot rod cruise on Saturdays, fantastic food, and great people. Love the atmosphere! Go to the Sugar Shack next door for a treat!!
