My husband and I went to the Dam Grill for breakfast one day while we were staying at Willow Point Resort, Buchanan Dam, TX. We enjoyed the friendly atmosphere, the great food, and great service. The Dam Grill has a simple decor, but it is very clean.

This restaurant has new owners. They have put fresh paint in the place and have it decorated "to the tee" with Cowboy decorations. It's charming and the food is delicious! It's only open til 2 folks! The wait staff were prompt and the prices are very reasonable.

Friendly staff, good hamburger, best fried mushrooms in the Highland Lake Area. Try the hot burger challenge if you're a glutton for punishment, if not admire my picture on the wall :)

Went here with a monthly ladies group. We choose various places to have lunch in the neighboring towns. We had a very large group - about 30+, but they were expecting us. Service was prompt & accurate. Food excellent. I had the standard Patty Melt, with sweet potato fries. Others had burgers, meatloaf special, taco special, chicken salad, chicken fried... More

We had two breakfast plates. Very reasonably priced and very tasty. They could serve better, more authentic tortillas but that was expected. We are just spoiled being from the RGV where tortillas are homemade at pretty much all restaurants. Biscuits are really soft amd tasty though. Overall, great food and great service. We'd stop again for breakfast if ever in... More

The food is good but the restaurant is rather shabby. We had a BLT with French fries and burgers. Waitresses were very hospitable.

We visited the Lake area recently didn't do our homework about where to eat. We choose this restaurant entirely because it was convenient and had a crowd. It's a diner, more or less, featuring some regional favorites on their menu and daily specials. One on our group had fried fish, to her liking. Another had tacos which were pretry boring... More

After a long morning of looking at lake property, we were hungry. We weren't finding much and then saw the Dam Grill (named for nearby Buchanan Dam). I had the special (three tacos) and beverage for $5 (what a bargain). It was tasty, service was FANTASTIC and just what we wanted!!!

We have ordered their breakfasts many, many times. We usually go pick the food up about 10 minutes after we order, and enjoy in our PJ's at home. The food is tasty and they have a nice variety of dishes. Since they moved to the new location, I have been twice, and both times enjoyed their lunches. Very reasonably priced... More
