This restaurant is only open in the summer. Great for large groups and all food is served family style on platters. Service is good but a bit slow. They have your typical Texas BBQ fare. Good quality a worth a visit. A bit of the beaten track to find

Cyclone Corral Barbecue is absolutely worth the short drive out of Temple. Give yourself some time, and really enjoy an evening here. The relaxing, country atmosphere is the perfect setting for great Texas BBQ. You're seated outside under a large covering, but there are numerous fans to keep it feeling cool. Then, for around $18 per person, it's all you... More

A true Family-Style eating experience. The food is brought to the table in large bowls and diners pass it around. The refills are plenteous.

Family style all you can eat brisket, ribs, sausage with all the trimmings! Great country atmosphere. Friendly. They are only open Friday & Saturday. Open on the spring daylight savings time & they close in the fall daylight savings time. Worth the drive.

Went to Cyclone last night for the first time with family. It took us about an hour to get there from Waco but a pleasant drive. The restaurant is in the middle of nowhere. The staff was friendly and we were promptly seated. The breeze was great. I really enjoyed the ribs the most. They were great! Can't say the... More

Certainly worth eating here once. The quaint atmosphere in an old corral is unique. All you can eat bbq. No menus. Classic country music. I've had better bbq but this is still good.

From the gravel parking lot to the unlimited beef ribs, this is Texas through and through! Have frequented this restaurant nor 20 years, it is nice to see their business grow but sad to see a little of the small family feeling leave. Still one of the top three barbq restaurants in central Texas!
