I had bruschetta and it was pretty good, bread for dipping in olive oil was more like rolls than crunchy Italian bread. Not much atmosphere, fairly inexpensive.

The Italian Bistro is a quaint little place to dine. Food is good but not great. Food is prepared fresh daily and portions are large. Pizza is made fresh with a variety of toppings and is very good.

Read about this restaurant here on Trip Advisor so we planned a motorcycle lunch ride to try it out. It's housed in an old building on the town square which I love. It's almost like going back to the 70s as far as furniture but I like that to. The young waitress we had was wonderful. Service could not have... More

Who would have thought that, in a town the size of Clarksville (3300 people), we would find a restaurant that serves such good, classic Italian food? There is nothing "store-bought" about the dishes they serve - real cream and butter, fresh tomatoes in the sauces, huge portions. Oh, and the rolls and dipping oil are perfecto! The facilities are a... More

We are bicycle touring and walked over to the Italian Bistro for supper after finishing the day's ride. Not only was the food excellent, but Penny went out of her way to help us have the best meal possible. The restaurant is dry, but allows BYOB. After our day's ride of 56 miles we wanted a glass of wine to... More

We stopped here on our way back to Texas from Oklahoma and were pleasantly surprised with the great meal we had. The house dressing on the salad was tangy and very good. I had eggplant parmigiana and thought it was great. The others in our party had the spaghetti with mushrooms and the stromboli and enjoyed their meals as well.... More

Based on Trip Advisor ratings, we thought we would try this restaurant on our way to OK. We found the place to be very, very average for lunch. I ordered Minestroni soup. The portion was fairly small bowl for the price, a good flavor, but way too much salt. I mentioned this to the manager and received a dumb stare... More

We have stopped to eat here every year for 4 years and had a great meal everytime. This year, Veal Murphy. The sauce, classic style from Florence, veal was perfect, but they added jalapenos and roasted pepers. The combination sent this recipe to new heights! Greek salad is wonderful! Would drive an hour out of our way to eat here... More

Had the Lobster Ravioli, there was 5 of them, the size of a silver dollar. If it was lobster it tasted processed, canned with possible white fish tossed in, I know what it tastes like. That is all there was to them on a large plate with a tasty sauce but no linguini at all, I was still hungry. My... More

In a part of Texas known for Dairy Queen this was a great find. A group of about 15 of us visited on a Saturday for lunch. The food was hot and fresh I recommend either the manicoti or the lasagna. The egg plant parmisian was also good. Service was a little slow but overall ok.
