My first time was a noon on a Wednesday. VERY crowded, and the cash register and front door make it very difficult to maneuver. Plus, you have to be seated, which makes for more confusion. So if you can make it past the Checkpoint Charley, it's two small dining rooms. Chairs are very close together. Get a booth if you... More

My wife and I are always on the lookout for good Tex-Mex and this is the one. The tamale, cheese enchiladas, cheese taco, meat taco and tostada with guacamole were excellent. But the Texas chili they put on top was one of the best we've had. The salsa was good and spicy. And the chips were thin and crispy. Service... More

We were on the road to Dallas & thought Mexican food sounded good. We had difficulty with Garmin finding the OMI. 3pm, not many customers there at that time. They no longer have chili rellanos so I got fajita nachos, beef were ok flavor wise but contained a lot of grissel. Took almost 30 min. to get out order. Beer... More

I have been to "OMI" several times over the last three or four years, and have never been impressed. The menu contains ordinary, everyday, ho-hum Mexican food. Some people talk about the "special" orange colored dip they serve with chips. It tastes like a mixture of mayo, mustard and ketchup. It does not grab me at all! Don't waste your... More

Stopped on the way back to Dallas from Galveston. Pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere is not fancy, but very comfortable and relaxing. The staff is great, and the food is excellent and plentiful. The Orange Sauce has a great flavor, and the salsa is not the usual bland 'tourist' style - it has a kick, and it's good!

We stopped here because of the fantastic reviews on Trip Advisor. The Orange Sauce is tasty. I've had similar at other places. It's good here, but nothing I would make a special trip for. The Hot Sauce was on the hotter side. It was good, not great. I didn't think it had a particularly fantastic flavor...seemed pretty standard to me.... More

Heard that this was the best Mexican food place in area and I had to try it out. The waitress brought me the Orange sauce, hot sauce and chips. I couldn't figure out what the Orange sauce was made out of....all I knew is I couldn't get enough of it. Then came the enchiladas.....AMAZING!!! I cannot tell you how wonderful... More

If you are up for Mexican food - this is the place. Plenty of seating. We had a party of 9 at 8:00 on a Saturday night. I called ahead and they said they had plenty of seats - which worried me because I thought if this place is so good - why do they have plenty of seats. Well,... More

OMI has the best beef fajitas quesadillas in town. Might wanna cut the olives, but the portions are awesome! You will not find the OMI specific orange anywhere else in the world. I'm my opinion, mix it half and half with the salsa and grab some mints an the way home. Try the fajitas and Wednesday cheese enchilada special as... More

We live in Corsicana and OMI is our go to Mexican Restaurant in town (and their are a lot!) The ORANGE DIP is amazing to dip or put on your fajitas. Nobody beats their quesadillas. The cheese is creamy and the olives put them over the top. The service is great and the balloons for our kids are the cherry... More
