This was my first visit to a Dickey's, but my daughter and her family had visited another and liked it. We did not have the same experience this day. The place was nasty dirty. We should have just left, but didn't. She ordered sliced beef for my granddaughter, he chopped it anyway. I got the creamed spinach, even though it... More

Great service and bigger selection than Dickey's #1. I stopped in for a "to go" order of sliced BBQ sandwiches. I was pleasantly surprised. The manager didn't know about the Wednesday special, but honored it. I didn't know about the brisket tacos or the Frito pie! I'll be back to try some of the new dishes!

Sliced beef sandwich was a disappointment today as the meat was dry and tasteless. Interior didn't seem very fresh. Maybe needs a little face lift.

I had the sliced brisket with beans and coleslaw. Brisket was tender but I've had better. Beans tasted like they have been on the heated line too long. Coleslaw was bearable. I don't think I will visit this place again. Hopefully there is better barbecue joints in Texas.

We stopped here for lunch after some shopping on a Saturday. They have specials every day of the week except Sundays. Saturday is chopped beef sandwich with 2 sides and a drink for $9.99, which I think is a good deal. The brisket was good quality and tender. Without sauce it was a bit dry but with sauce it was... I am a little surprised that it is as average as it is. I worked in a BBQ restaurant wheb in College and when BBQ is done well it could be its own food group. This is not one of those ocassions. I had a 3 meat combo and nothing had a discernable smokey flavor. I guess since you are... More

Haven't been in this place for a long time. Boy, what have changed? The rib is hard to chew on, sausage is half it use to be. Cashier seems friendly but the check out had so many glitches, wrong price, wrong discount...... Over all I want my old dickey's back. If it keeps like this for more profit, will not... More

Stopped in last night because we were hungry and it was recommended by someone. Brisket was dry, ribs were tasteless, and the sauce was glorified ketchup. The potato casserole wasn't bad, but I would skip this place and find a real bbq joint. This would be the equivalent of going to Long John Silvers for a seafood dinner.

Been to several Dickey's over the years. Some are mediocre, some are terrible. This one, on the other hand, was great! Ordered brisket and fries, basically, and everyone had a great meal. Not too dried out, not too greasy. Fries were well prepared. Iced Tea was clean and STRONG, not musty nor weak. This is an older strip mall location,... More

While I must admit that the Dickey's franchises outside of Texas just do NOT do it for me, the Dallas restaurants are wonderful. Real Texas brisket and sausage barbeque, great comfort-food sides, super friendly staff. They even still have the free, self-serve soft ice cream!
