This is a favorite place for us. We really enjoy the food and have eaten here many many times. There are some unique dishes on the menu, particularly the shrimp taco and buffalo. There used to be an unusual duck tamale (fantastic) but this got changed to an enchilada (a bad change in our view). Avoid the menu items that... More

This restaurant is located in the Ritz-Carlton in downtown Dallas. The chef is well known, but he spent the time to visit all the tables when I was there. Several guests took pictures with him. The flood was amazingly flavorful here. The tortilla soup was excellent, so were the crab cakes. I had salmon which was cooked to perfection with... More

My wife and I ate at Fearing's beginning of February. The service was friendly however chaotic and a bit unprofessional. The food tasted good, however portions were way too big which for a fine dining restaurant is unnecessary. By the time we received our main course we were both full. This was our second visit to Fearing's and will probably... More

The food was spectacular. Started with Lobster Bisque. Best ever! Deep Ellum IPA local beer. Great! Special salmon dish with noodles, mushrooms, poached egg center. Wow! Strongly recommend.

We had a business dinner here and I was hugely disappointed. The menu is limited, and the quality of the food is mediocre at best. It's is vey expensive, especially when you realize the food is so average. I cannot recommend this restaurant. I was also disappointed with the service. It started of fine, and then our waiter was MIA... More

Fearing' is a spectacular restaurant with an elegant southwestern bent. The antelope, a first for me, was exquisitely prepared. Tender, richly flavored, accompanied be a delicate polenta and crisp Brussel sprout leaves. Similar to beef but a bit lighter. The tortilla soup was deliciously spicy. A nice wine list. Only complaint, and perhaps this was a bad day, was a... More

Grabbed a quick dinner here by myself while on business. Very accommodating and great meal. I sat a great table near the open kitchen. The service was impeccable and very friendly. The food is just amazing, as are the margaritas. Yes, the tortilla soup is great. Look forward to returning with my friends and family in the future

We were back again to celebrate my son's 18th Birthday and it was a fantastic experience. The service was of very high quality and the food was exceptional. The wine selection is great and the 40 year tawny port was a wonderful way to round off the evening. The one thing I would suggest to improve the experience is to... More

The food and service here are worthy of being in a Ritz-Carlton. Dean (Fearing) is a legend in southwest cooking and has been showcasing his talents in Dallas for over 20 years. You'll not question this once you've finished your meal. The Buffalo Tenderloin, the Chicken Fried Lobster (yes), and the Tortilla soup are off the charts. The wine list... More
