Grabbed a quick dinner here by myself while on business. Very accommodating and great meal. I sat a great table near the open kitchen. The service was impeccable and very friendly. The food is just amazing, as are the margaritas. Yes, the tortilla soup is great. Look forward to returning with my friends and family in the future

We were back again to celebrate my son's 18th Birthday and it was a fantastic experience. The service was of very high quality and the food was exceptional. The wine selection is great and the 40 year tawny port was a wonderful way to round off the evening. The one thing I would suggest to improve the experience is to... More

The food and service here are worthy of being in a Ritz-Carlton. Dean (Fearing) is a legend in southwest cooking and has been showcasing his talents in Dallas for over 20 years. You'll not question this once you've finished your meal. The Buffalo Tenderloin, the Chicken Fried Lobster (yes), and the Tortilla soup are off the charts. The wine list... More

We've only been here for dinner, but on multiple occasions. Service is always excellent. This used to be a place I would recommend to everyone but the last few times we went there the food seemed to have lost it's sparkle. For example on our last visit my husband ordered the antelope, which we ordered several times before, the meat... More

Upon arrival, we ordered from the bar from the Fearings menu... Had Beef Tacos (that was on the bar's menu) and Beef Short Ribs. Both were excellent. The Short Ribs had thin thin onion rings and mashed potatoes. (Followed those with a chocolate chip cookie from the store - at $4!!!) We also had Brunch on Sunday. While the fruit... More

If you want to eat some amazing southwestern cuisine you must stop in at Fearings. Tortilla soup is the best thing you will ever have. You want a great bartender you stop in the rattlesnake and ask for Jaime. So many dining room options you have to just walk through the place and be amazed.

This would be our 4th visit to Fearings in 5 years and this is the first year that I felt something has changed. The service is usually top tier, but was not as attentive or friendly as usual. The drinks in the bar are excellent and the bread basket is unchanged. The meal is great, but open to personal preference.... More

If I could give Fearing's 4 1/2 stars, I would. The only reason it is not 5 stars is I learned buffalo is not my favorite dish. Other than that, however, the experience was pretty impeccable. Interior is warm/contemporary. Tan woods + stainless steel + leather seats. On a Tuesday night, the vibe was busy but not chaotic or loud.... More

Recently, I had the prix fixe Sunday brunch here - and it was pretty much of a let down. Esp. for the money we paid. The food was well prepared, but what was there of the legendary Dean Fearing? Not much that I could taste. I had the fish tacos, which was, I thought, an adventuresome dish, but it came... More

On October 15, 2016 we chose Fearing’s to celebrate a 60th birthday for a family member to ensure it was a special evening.  It started with a lovely personalized birthday card at the table from the General Manager, Michael Gluckman.  The food was all that we expected during the course of the appetizers and entrees.  The surprise and disappointment came at...
