I have visited Cielito Lindo Mexican Food restaurant on several occasions. It is located in a very small building in the parking lot of a local strip mall. If you blink, you'll miss it, as they say. There is a drive-through to complement the small...More
First time visited with a friend on their recommendation and was not disappointed. Second visit was with spouse. Ordered taco lunch special both times, hubby got tamales. I prefer shredded meat and that was made available when asked. Sauce was different from the usual salsa,...More
Husband went and got take out. He got cheese enchiladas and got me a stuff polanbo pepper. Both meals came with refried beans & rice. The rice had mixed veggies in as did the stuff pepper. Not bad but nothing to write home about.
The enchiladas looked like cheap beef stew covered with three folded corn toritillas with mexican cheese on top. After eating it I got food poisioning and spent two days in the hospital! Tore up the menu and will never eat there again.
We visit this establishment every Sunday for breakfast and wouldn't miss the amazing breakfast they serve! Authentic and delicious. You'd think your grandmother was prepping the dishes in the back herself. Wait staff are all friendly and helpful.
If authenticity is more important to you than a fancy sign and a location near the interstate, then you should try this place. Good food prepared by nice folks. Less than a mile from Rd 69.
