Arrived near 11:30 am. Greeted by friendly staff and seated promptly. Menu revealed usual American Food fare. Special of day was stuffed pork chop. I ordered the pan fried sirloin (8 oz). Another ordered catfish and the third the special. Cooking time is a little long but the food is hot and fresh. The steak was prepared exactly to order... More

Awesome place! Chicken fried steak was the bomb! The staff actually stops to carry on a real conversation. Made me feel like a local. Price was reasonable.

Great food. Second visit. BYOB. Try Chicken Fried steak. Breaking is not too Heavy. Service is consistent with a small town place. Neat place to visit. Lots of great fire house items.

I would categorize the Firehouse Grill as family dining. The food is fresh and of good quality. The service is usually good. The atmosphere is open and offers some moments of Ennis History with photos and uniforms scattered throughout the restaurant.

After stopping by the Ennis visitors center , the rep recommended I try several places to eat. I decided on this little grill and was very pleased with the quality of the burger and fries.

The food here is pretty good. But the servers are normally surly teenagers who act is if the customers are an inconvenience. The prices are a little high. If the serve and atmosphere was better he prices would be ok. The food is pretty good.

We were looking for a place to eat near downtown. It was Friday night a little after 8:30pm. The place from the outside doesn't seem very attractive and we were hesitated to go inside. However, I'm glad we did. I order the jumbo shrimp and a side of grilled vegetables. The sauce the shrimp were showered in was delicious. It... More

Went to Firehouse on opening day of the Ennis Bluebonnet Festival. Waitress told us at the door that tables were available but were waiting to be bussed. We were seated in about 5 minutes and waited a while for a waitress to take our order. It took over 45 minutes for us to get our food. Waitresses were seating diners,... More
