I sat at the bar where they offered full service. I ordered a bloody mary and the Catfish Opselous (Sp?). Service was prompt and friendly. The bloody mary mix they use is very tasty! My food came quickly. The fish was a little salty but the overall flavor was delicious. I would come here again!
Menu said JUMBO shrimp. They were like small lobster tails! They were a little too spicy for me, but the grits were great and I'm not a big fan of grits and the shrimp were wonderful. Wife had the tilapia with crisp long green beans, shrimp, crab, and a risotto cake. The risotto was a bit spicy for her. I tried a bite and found it delightful. It did hang on for a few... More
We visited late in the evening. We were seated quickly at the bar area. Our server was attentive and nice. We had the fondue. It was nice and creamy... excellent choice! We split the Halibut special which was delicious.
I ordered gumbo. They should call it soup. It's not gumbo at all. My niece and nephews enjoyed their meal. I ordered something else but don't remember what I ordered. I do remember giving it away to my nephews. I gone to Pappadeaux in both San Antonio and Chicagoland and enjoyed my meals. Not sure what happen here but I... More
