One of my favorites in Fort Worth. One of Zagat's most highly rated restraints for years. Bernard, the owner, moved from France and started this unique and fantastic icon over 30 years ago. He takes small group tours to the south of France several times a year. SAint Emillion is not open on Sunday or Monday, and there is limited... More

This place offers fine dining experience with quite palatable French dishes. The food should get 5 stars. However, the service is a bit hastened. When you are paying about $200 for 2 people, you expect a little bit of extra finesse and courtesy. We were a little disappointed with the dining experience. Our waiter did not fill us in on... We were out for a celebration and had heard great things about the restaurant's history. We were disappointed and wished we had gone elsewhere. When spending $80 apiece you have high expectations and they were not met. The service was not swift nor was it even always polite but a little on the snippy side. The table was too small... More

My wife and I arrived twenty minutes early for our 8:15PM reservation on a Friday night after visiting the Monet exhibit at the world-class Kimball Art Museum which is less than a half mile away from Saint-Emilion in Forth Worth's Arts District. Despite our early arrival and a packed house, the gracious owners were able to get us seated after... More

Went there for the 1st time last night. We had two tables as we were a small group. The place is small and cozy. We were basically ignored when we got in and found our table by oursleves when we spotted our friends who were already seated. Our server was not particularly helpful and looked impatient with us. The food... More

My husband and I found ourselves without dinner plans on a Friday night. We took a chance and walked into this wonderful restaurant and asked if they could accommodate us. They most graciously gave us a table near the window and a wonderful experience. We had scallops with an orange sauce, roasted duck, and a dessert that delighted. The dessert... More

imagine finding a very good french bistro deep in the heart of texas. this kitchen is skilled in the traditional french techniques and style. the flavors were spot on and true to the cuisine. the service team was professional and knowledgeable of the menu. the mid-week pre-fixe menu was a good bargain with no shortcuts in the dishes presented. this... Wonderful, relaxed atmosphere. Great service, not at all snooty. Food however was underwhelming. Escargot fair. Served with puff pastry, which is too rich to pair with the butter in the dish. Fish too garlicky, even for a garlic lover. Duck good, but the confi was so salty I couldn't eat it. All four at our table were underwhelmed.

Because we will not ever waste another dollar. Recommended to us for a celebration. They couldn't have cared less. There was no pride in preparation. The lamb chops were cold upon service and so was the duck. No well wishes. Clearly, they don't know how to treat their guests. Yes, we made a reservation. Yes, we told them about the... More
