Took my uncle to this restaurant for breakfast after review from TripAdvisor. While food wasn't bad, both of us felt dishes were flat. Nothing stood out as worthy of great praise. Biscuits and gravy were not very good as the sausage in the sausage gravy was just strange tasting. Other breakfast of of bacon, eggs and potatoes were just ok.... More

Stopped in this weekend on our way to the peddler show at the fairgrounds. Restaurant wasn't very busy and it was early in the lunch hours but we had to flag down a waitress to get seated. After sitting at the table a while, my wife had to go to the bar to ask if we could get some service.... More

Had lunch in Rathskeller today. Both my friend and I thought the whole experience was poor. Only one unisex restroom, poor table service, poor food....Meat was shocking. On vacation from Europe so asked for WiFi code. Was told code recently changed and the staff have not been informed of the new code. A truly negative experience.

Every item on the menu that we tried was very authentic German comfort food. Great atmosphere in the basement of a historic building.

Service was sluggish, and the food was average at best. Eggs had to be returned as they were undercooked. Service staff seemed like a family affair, and was very amateurish.

We had eggs Benedict and eggs with bone in ham. Both were very good. The place is small and was very busy. Waitress was very helpful and friendly. It is loud inside probably due to the stone walls. We would recommend.

I walked from my hotel to this little hole in the basement of another building. It was a rainy night so not a lot of people. There were several couples dining and the waitress seemed upset that I was a party of one. She was kind of rude and not very helpful. I had heard the sausage plate was good... More

Had dinner with my sister and husband. The restaurant was small and nothing special to look at. However the menu was very upscale and the wine list although very small was nice with a mix of local and California wines! I ordered the NY Strip steak. It came out hot and perfectly cooked. It was served with bacon green beans... More
