Read the reviews on here and wanted BBQ for locals away from main street. We weren't wrong! Remember they sell out they close!

This place hast to be on your list to try...great selection, and the brisket is awesome!! My favorite selection are the ribs, and you don't need any sauce.

If your in the Fredericksburg area check this place out. The brisket was fantastic! Didn't even need sauce for it, delicious by it's self.

Ordered a pound of ribs and brisket ( half and half). The Unlimited Sides that come with a plate are extra when you order by the pound. Very different than the BBQ in Austin/Lockhart- not overly seasoned but wonderfully tender. Also, not used to seeing sides in the Austin places- but they were also very tasty. I wouldn't make a... You know, this place doesn't get national TV space, but it should. The brisket is OUTSTANDING. Plenty of sides to accompany your feast. But it's true when the brisket is sold out, this place closes, so get there early. Great smoke ring, great bark, and tender tender tender. This place is a MUST stop when in town.

It looks like a dump, but the BB-Q is tender and very, very good. It is worth standing in line to buy and you want to go early get your food, take it home, and heat it up and eat whenever you are ready to eat. Our party included 3 generations and we chowed down on pulled pork, sliced brisket,... More

Stopped in after just driving by, so glad we did. We tried the brisket, ribs, pulled pork sandwich and a potato with butter, sour cream, chopped beef and cheese. Should have just gotten a 1/4lb. of pork since I didn't bother with the bun after one bite. I needed to save room for the awesomeness that was the potato. I... More

We weren't real hungry so we got the baked potato and sandwich instead of a plate. Both items had the chopped beef on them. It wasn't great. Should have gotten the sliced brisket, it looked better. Wasn't crazy about the sauce, very thin and runny. Kind of a neat spot, very busy.

I am not a local of Fredericksburg but do work in the area. I make it a point to eat at this location at least 2x a month to get this amazing baked potato loaded with chopped beef, butter, sour cream, sauce ... The prices are reasonable and the taste/flavor; outstanding! You must try this place ...

Took a motorcycle ride through the hill country and decided to try the bar b que. Had the pull pork sandwich - normally order two - glad I didn't. It was a big sandwich with a lot of extra pork. Used a little of the sauce to give a little edge to it - was great. The reason I guess... More
