My wife and I almost skipped over this restaurant but decided that since it was so close to the hotel we would try it. Boy are we glad we did! We arrived about thirty minutes before they start serving so we sat in the bar and a couple of drinks. The Margaritas were luscious. The bartender was friendly, courteous, fun... More

Service was so-so. Don't mind paying for artisan bread appetizer but when it is stale and cold that is not acceptable. The salad was dry and tasteless and they acted like the dressing was made of gold with the lack of it. The filet however was cooked perfectly and was wonderful. The highlight of a tragic evening.

We came on New Years Eve. When I made the reservation we could only get in at 9:30pm. Ok. But when I called at 8 to see if they had cancellations they said "Yes. Come in!" We were seated quickly. That was the only quick thing. Since we had some drinks while walking the Main Street we didn't order wine.... More

My family and I have visited this restaurant several times. In fact until this last visit it was my favorite restaurant in Fredricksburg. This last visit was almost a complete disaster. Our waitress was young and inexperienced. She would ask one person at the table what they would like to drink and then walk away. She would disappear for extended... More

6 couples including hildren plus 4 grandchildren went to dinner last Saturday. Strip steaks and pork chops were too tough to eat. Potatoes were cold as was the restaurant temperature. Chicken was good. No children's menu was available so had to pay full price for adult meals. Hallway to restrooms were unlit and dangerous thru staff falure to turn on... More

We visit Fredericksburg once a year between Thanksgiving and Christmas and try to eat somewhere different each time. Last year we ate here and loved it entirely. We listened to the dinner specials and didn't even look at the menu. This time, no dinner specials so we ordered from the menu. The selection on the menu is extremely limited. What... More

My family ate at Navajo Grill when it first opened at their tiny location downtown and we loved it so much. We returned often throughout the years, but have not been a regular for a while due to several less than stellar meals. We returned Friday and had a very average meal and experience. One member of our party ordered... More

We had a lovely dinner at the Navajo Grill on our last night in Fredericksburg. We each ordered their special mango margarita as an aperitif - fresh ingredients and delicious. We both tried their soups for that evening - pozole and beer cheese - and they were excellent. Entrees we chose were also winners - filet and lamb tagliatelle. We... More

We enjoyed some nice cocktails , and a great bottle of wine with our meal. The Filet was excellent in all regards and nothing disappointed. On the expensive side , but this is more upscale than most around. Service was definitely a little more relaxed as befits the country location , but nothing to complain about.

Had the steak with Split peas soup. Both were very good. After having some disappointing meals in Fredericksburg it was nice to have a more upscale meal in Fredericksburg that was good quality. It is about 1 mile outside of the main tourist area of Fredericksburg. Service was excellent as well.
