The place is nice with plenty of parking, plenty of interior space, even some outside tables, clean, and nicely decorated. I ate stromboli calzone that comes with a tomato sauce. It tasted and was cooked perfectly. I have gone their before, but this is not the only thing they do well. The Margherita is also good. They also have a... More

Our family stayed in Galveston for the Galvez Hotel Thanks giving buffet which was excellent. Friday after Thanksgiving looking for pizza or Italian we went to Russo's. I've always wanted to try Russo's and glad we did go. There were nine of us so we ordered and shared three different pizzas, all three were excellent. Also they have Peroni beer,... More

This little pizzeria is down the seawall a ways tucked into a little strip mall. The pizza is hand tossed and pretty good (ours was a little overdone on the bottom). The toppings were a tad sparse. The sauce was good. You can get a reasonably priced ginormous pizza. All in all it is an okay pizzeria.

I went for liunch on a weekday and the place was pretty slow when I arrived. By the time I left the place was getting more and more busy. The pizza and salad were excellent. The service was good, but not fantastic. You order at the counter and then go sit down at a table. They will deliver the food.... More

January on the island is fabulous! My family decided to play tourist and walk the empty beach on the east end. On our way out we stopped at Russo's for a slice of pizza. At first glance I thought the place a little pricey-$6.50 for a slice? I opted for the Manhattan slice after reading all the specialties. The slice... More

My wife and I do a lot of vacations in Galveston every year and eat at a lot of places but this place rates at 100% for having the worst pizza we ever had. And this is coming from a 100% Sicilian the knows pizza. We had the Calebrese Napoletana pizza. It was to thin, well done on the bottom,... More

We stopped in to get a quick bite of pizza while we were in Galveston. The pizza was so delicious much better then the local chain pizza. They have alot of other Italian dishes on their menu that i would love to go back and try. While waiting for our pizza they brought out pizza garlic bread with a dipping... More

We arrived at our hotel later in the day and hadn't eaten since the morning. I was so excited to order pizza from a local place and not a big chain (one that we can get at home). I paid $36 plus tip for a small pizza and cheese sticks. The pizza was very bland and so thin that it... More

Ordered from here tonight, delivery took an hour and a half to arrive. (After they said 45 min) Delivery guy said they had the address incorrect. After we called after an hour to ask if everything was ok...anyways pizza finally arrived. The food was ok, I'm not sure I would try this place again, the cold pizza was ok...but I could... More

Of course we mainly hit seafood spots when we're in Galveston but we have to take a break and eat something different and this is our spot. Flavorful pizza that may take just a little while to come out due to their high volume of take-out orders. The wait's not too bad and it's worth it.
