We went to Napoli bel Cuore in Horsforth yesterday for a family meal. It was our first visit so didn’t know what to expect. Apart from the restaurant being very authentically decorated and impeccably clean and well organised, we were greeted by a very attentive waiter. He helped us to order and explained dishes we were unsure of. The service was absolutely excellent throughout. He was very friendly and funny, and to be honest we felt like we could have all been on holiday in Italy! The food was beautifully presented and tasted divine. My 7 year old, who is the worlds fussiest eater, ate ALL of her pizza which we were all very surprised about, but obviously shows how delicious the food was. I had a spicy pasta dish, my mother in law had lasagne and my husband and father in law had pizza along with my daughter. Everybody ate every scrap. We all had desserts which were equally delicious and very authentic, followed by a traditional espresso. We were not rushed and had time to laugh and chat and thoroughly enjoy ourselves. The price was very reasonable for the quality of food and service. We truly hope they manage to survive this troubling economic time, as they deserve every success. We will be back for all our family occasions in the future. Thank you for a great meal Napoli nel Cuore! ❤️

This place does the Neapolitan style pizzas - A thin base with a puffed up crust which is chewy! We’ve been a few times and enjoyed it each time. The premises is quite plain from the outside but once you step in you get a nice sense of atmosphere. Usually there’s a chap playing the Piano which adds to the atmosphere but they’re currently not doing it due to the covid situation. (But will pass oil bottles from table to table) We ordered a Margherita, with chilli and garlic. We also ordered the O’FUME. (Rich creamy base topped with Smoked Provola, Italian Sausage, Mushrooms and a drizzle of Extra Virgin Olive Oil DOP) When enquiring about the creamy base, the waiter said it’s the cheese that makes the base creamy. I thought there would be some kind of béchamel base, as the description alluded to but the waiter said there’s no sauce, it’s only the cheese on the pizza that makes it ‘creamy’ so I decided to go with a tomato base instead. Still a bit unsure as to whether the waiter was correct or not...either way, he either was or the pizza description needs correcting. (One day I’ll try a pizza with a creamy base!) Anyway, the Pizzas were great. Lovely chewy dough and tasty toppings. Nice tomato base too. The Neapolitan style pizza is a real comfort food! We also had a bottle of house white wine which was served in an ice bucket propped next to the table. If you’re after a Neapolitan style pizza then you can’t go wrong with this place.

We called in a few months ago and had a fantastic dinner so as we can now dine again we had to re-visit, sometimes after a great experience when you return it can be a dissapointment.... but you know what ? It was spot on ! For starters my wife had the aubergine in a tomato sauce ( served hot ) and I had the mozzarella and pancetta ( served cold ) both were deeeeeliscious 😁 We then asked for a 30 minute wait before our mains which we were sharing and we ordered the penne pasta in a arabiata & meat sauce and also a pepperoni pizza , both cooked to perfection and packed with flavour.. but we only managed to finish the penne and took the pizza home. To be honest the quality, flavour etc at the Napoli is as good as it gets. The waiters & waitresses are really nice so if you want outstanding Italian food then this is the place. I have no hesitation in recommending the Napoli and won't hesitate to return.

This is not an understatement. This really is the best Italian in the UK. If you are a lover of TRUE Italian food then you will not be disappointed. The takeaway pizza is just like you would get in Naples...i don't understand why you would get a takeaway pizza anywhere else...and they are cheaper! Tonight I had dinner in the restaurant and had the fillet mignon which was one of the best I have had in about 20 years. The wine is top quality and worth every penny. The staff are wonderful, friendly and attentive. What more could you ask for. If you love Italian food don't consider going anywhere else but Napoli nel Cuore.

I have ordered take out from here a few times during lockdown - delivery is always speedy and the pizza is absolutely delicious. On Friday I visited the restaurant to eat in for the first time. I went with two of my friends. Tables were well spaced out, there was hand sanitiser available on the way in. The waiters were all wearing face shields. The menu was accessed via a QR code rather than using a paper menu. Despite all of these COVID measures being in place, they did not detract at all from the wonderful ambience. The service was extremely friendly, the food was fantastic, and we were even treated to a small glass of limoncello before we left. I'll definitely be back very soon.

This is one of the worst restaurants I have ever been to in my life. You can always judge a good restaurant by the food and the friendliness of the staff - both of which were appalling. The staff were rude and completely ignored the request to bring out the starters when the person who's party everyone was there for had arrived - instead they put the food under a heat lamp which dried it out and also it was not hot when we were ready to eat. The food I was given was so bland and tasteless that any true Italian would have been slapped by their own mother for serving such swill! We asked three times for water and were ignored each time - however they were more than attentive when we asked for alcoholic drinks which were overpriced and tasted like something you can get at a pound shop. What is even more shameful is that the person who organised for us all to go to the restaurant was called by the manager who demanded that our friends who have written a bad (but very truthful) review, remove it from here. Not once have they apologised but instead they care more about their reviews than how to cook! My advice is to avoid this restaurant and go to Il Forno which is further up the road on Town Street... I've tasted better Pot Noodles.

We visited here with our son who lives nearby, as part of a belated New Years celebration. This is a no-frills restaurant in typical Italian trattoria style with check table cloths, and when we visited was very busy. We shared a starter of O’ Cuopp Napulitan (Neopolitan fried street food) and Pizza Aglio (garlic pizza bread with tomato sauce) followed by different pizzas. The food was tasty and reasonably priced, as were the wines. The restaurant had a lively atmosphere, with one of the waiters providing the singing entertainment throughout the evening. Overall a great place for a casual and reasonably priced Italian meal.

We have visited this restaurant several times and never been disappointed. However we decided to take advantage of the delivery option during lockdown and the quality was appalling. The pizza was soggy and stodgy. The tuna pizza had 2 small blobs of tuna and the cheese was partially congealed. Altogether an expensive and extremely disappointing experience - never to be repeated.

I have always walked past this restaurant and wanted to visit, but never taken the time to. I wish I had come before! It is so lovely in here, with very friendly staff and great, reasonably priced food. The waiters were typical for an Italian restaurant - friendly, funny and a little flirtatious. They particularly took a shine to my friend. I got the triple cooked pizza - oven cooked, deep fried and oven cooked again. The bread tasted more like doughnut which sounds weird but it was actually really tasty. My pal got the salmon pasta which she enjoyed. We then both got the cheesecake which did sadly leave me feeling a little queasy. I don't think this was the restaurant's fault though so much as my weird taste buds. Overall, gorgeous place would definitely recommend.

I visited Aug 2019 Pre Covid but wanted to write a review as this place has stayed with me and deserves 5 stars. Ive got to admit, I didn't expect much. From the outside it looks unimpressive, a bit tacky even and going inside it looked cluttered with mismatched tables and those gingham table cloths. However I was too quick to judge. It was just after work and the place was still quiet. We got shown to our seat near the back and ordered drinks and shortly after ordered food. The staff were lovely, friendly and passionate and there was a lot of (I'm assuming) Italian getting chucked around from the kitchen. 2 of my friends ordered the ridiculously oversized pizzas, another got a salad and I got a pasta dish. All were excellent but the pizzas were awesome. Half way through the meal some old absolute dude gets up and starts singing in Italian and while we were a bit suprised we suddenly realised we were in Italy. Between the food, wine and setting we were transported there, suddenly it all made sense. Its not trying to be a chic Italian bistro, it is an Italian restaurant popped down in Horsforth.

We are regulars at this restaurant as it’s mouth-watering, authentic Italian food. We ordered four takeaway pizzas (2x Magharita, a Napoli and a 4 Stagioni) on 23.2.21 as it was my husband’s birthday. When Francesco appeared with our order he’d surprisingly added an extra chips, dough balls (best I have EVER tasted) and a slice of tiramisu for the birthday boy! What a lovely surprise which we are very grateful for! Can’t wait to the day comes when we can’t actually sit in the restaurant again. But if you haven’t eaten here before do give it a whirl as the food and the staff are the best ever!

really good pizzas here and a nice friendly lively atmosphere. Sometimes even live music if you go on a saturday night. They do a good vegan cheese and tomato sauce on the pizzas is really delicious.

I was Disgusted with the poor service especially from what I took to be head waiter he was very bad mannered/rude. The choice of starters were bone dry olives or bone dry tastless brushetta. The food was Appalling either burnt or under cooked. Out of the 22 of us about 8 of us sent food back and 2 of us didn't eat it at all, and they completely forgot 2 mains and one was for the birthday girl herself!! Then even when we're stood at bar ordering drinks they put a service charge on drinks too!!! Disgraceful never to return

We booked a table for 7 people in advance and when we got there (we were not even minute late for our booked time) we were told there’s no PIZZA DOUGH left. We had kids with us and we were just left saying sorry. I would not recommend this place unless you want to take your own DOUGH.
