After a long flight from California my son brought me to this place for mid afternoon Mimosa's, and they were absolutely mouthwatering and refreshing! We started with the watermelon and ended with the grapefruit. They were both to die for! We both also had a shrimp salad, it was delicious! We sat at the bar, I absolutely loved the atmosphere... The atmosphere was very nice with the white marble top tables. I had the french onion soup and the prime rib special. This was perhaps the best prime rib I have ever had . I also had the creme brulee. Both the soup and the dessert were good. The knock out was the prime rib! I have already decided that... More

During a recent visit to Houston, we opted to seek out restaurants we’ve not visited on previous trips to Houston. This trip, one of ‘new’ locations was Brassiere 19 located in the River Oaks Shopping Center. In Texas, Mexican or Tex-Mex dining is a dime a dozen; however finding a good authentic French restaurant is more challenging. For me, Brassiere... More

The bar is one of the best in town with a great people watching, nice drinks, fun bartenders and more than likely you will run into friends while having a drink at the bar! The food is good quality with a variety on the menu. The wine list is good with something for everyone. Nice inside and outside seating. Great... More

We really enjoy this place, lots of nice dishes that are difficult to come by - especially the seafood-based ones. The wine ordering is obnoxious having to use the Ipad. Why a printed menu and then the WinePad? Lunch "feels" the best, dinner is full of pretentious diners who order wine based on the right side of the menu and... More

Brasserie is my hot spot for happy hour with friends, a great date and colleagues. In other words, you can't miss this place for any of your after work escapades. I also enjoy the atmosphere at dinner. Although due to the noise and traffic I wouldn't recommend it for that special night or event. It's more of a hip, swanky... More

Ate here for Sat Brunch July 4th wknd, 2016. Lovely, Great staff. Great Menu. Extensive wine selection. Most importantly, a Croque Madame on the menu! Raw bar too. Nice location. In and out door seating. Bar seating as well.

The food at this restaurant really was only "okay" for the price and location. Although a nice setting, the burger and fries are not the best choices here. If you go here, focus on fish or other fresh choices.

Description
Brasserie 19, located in Houston’s 77019 neighborhood, offers a modern amalgamation of French brasserie fare and well-known American influences. The chef-driven menu utilizes the freshest seasonal ingredients in thoughtfully prepared dishes. Brasserie 19 boasts an expansive, carefully developed wine list dedicated to pricing just above retail – a philosophy pioneered by owners Charles Clark and Grant Cooper upon opening their first restaurant, Ibiza Food & Wine Bar. Brasserie 19's sophisticated yet unpretentious interiors are bathed in cool greys and whites, with antiqued wood and white marble used throughout. Grey leather banquettes and comfortable chairs are paired with white linen and butcher paper-covered tables create a casually elegant setting for lunch, dinner or Sunday brunch. Brasserie 19 will serve lunch and dinner 7 days a week, as well as brunch on Sundays.
