The atmosphere is very casual. Our group of 3 mostly ordered all we wanted and shared among us. I had the Tom kum gai without chicken. Could have been happier, unless there was more and more...

This used to be a favorite Thai restaurant for me when I lived in Houston before I moved away six years ago. I was passing through recently and tried Nidda for lunch. I ordered the Pad Thai from the lunch special menu. It was freshly prepared and tasty. Even though the dish is stir fried, there was very little oil.... More

The food is bland and uninspiring. It's safe to judge a Thai restaurant by its Papaya salad; Nidda's is made for the American palate. The staff is very nice. Prices are a bit higher than other similar restaurants. I don't believe I will return.

Nidda is a solid establishment at the Montrose area. Whether you dine in or take out. The food is great, the takeaway portions are very generous. Lunch menu is great.

On the recommendation of a friend we tried Nidda Thai for lunch and were not disappointed!! Both our dishes (one red curry and one with a tasty basil sauce) came with salad and spring roll, large scoop of rice and plenty of delicious chicken and veggies and sauce with the perfect amount of spiciness. Service was excellent and prices can't... More

This is place is legit. They know how to cook their dishes consistently. They are quick for service, they really want you to enjoy your food. We normally do family style which is a nice way for everyone to try something new. We got the fish, eggplant, pad thai and some other stuff between 4 adults and 2 children. All... More

I was looking for a good thai takeout restaurant. This isnt it. Had pad thai and pad see ew. Both were bland, strangely flavored. It was edible, but that's about it.

The hostess who sat me at a table was somewhat disengaged, but our server was very sweet and efficient. I had the Pad Thai Chicken dish, one of the lunch specials for around $8.50. The lunch specials come with a soup and spring roll. The soup was a nice little bowl, but not very flavorful. The spring roll was so... More

Although they need to make the restaurant a bit cooler (and I am cold natured) it is a casual, easy place to dine. Parking can be tight. Try the fried eggplant but tell them to put the sauce on the side as when they pour it over the eggplant gets mushy.
