Obviously, this is a local hangout with its share of regulars. I had not been down to the Market Square area in 25 years and Warren's looks about the same as it did oh so long ago. There is still a cigarette machine (and stocked) by the front door. This December night, we walked in and sat at the bar,... More

Warren's bar is in downtown Houston near Market Square Park, a popular area for bars and restaurants. It has a teal exterior and a neon sign out front. We were referred by a bartender at another pub that they have good prices for cocktails and that it's nothing fancy. We walked in (around 8:30pm) expecting a laid-back pub. Instead, it... More

We spent an afternoon with some friends on a pub crawl around Market Square to explore a part of Houston we had not been to before. Warren's Inn was on our list as one of the oldest bars in Houston but when we went in, it felt like we were intruding - not very friendly or welcoming. The choice of... More

Gotta try this place but gets crowded very easy...great tiny second floor balcony. It's been here forever. Service is ok but you have to realize it's so small that if you go during an event nearby it will be packed and impossible to get in or get service. Try off times to experience.

Warren's is a slice of old time Houston, the place to get a real martini, not a flirtini, peartini or any other non-martini. The waitress has been there for decades, can carry a good conversation and make a mean manhattan. It's not for diversions, TV and the like but a place to sit and enjoy a cocktail. Simple and rare.... A great place to come to. Amazing crowd on the 24 th which is very different to the usual crowd on a weekend. Absolutely worth coming to.

We stopped by for a drink while downtown. It's an old bar and the bathroom was pretty clean. Not a place to watch the game if that is what you are looking for.

This is a great, old atmosphere bar in downtown. Supposedly a strip tease bar in a prior life, it has a great old atmosphere and a phenomenal jukebox. A great unique place to have a drink.

Warrens is a great little dive bar in downtown Houston. It has been around for a very long time and has weathered all of the good and bad. As I said its a dive bar but not a total dump by any means...plus the drinks are strong!

I was headed back to the airport from a business trip in Seabrook and had a few hours to kill before my flight, drove into the Houston theater district and stumbled upon Warren's Inn, ordered a drink which about knocked me off my chair... I looked up the reviews and found what all the hubbub was about. Great old school... More
