My wife and I attend a lot of Astros games and we always go to Home Plate. I get the hot dog and my wife gets nachos. Not sure why, just our thing. Wash it down with a couple cold beers while we wait on the game to start. Great atmosphere with lots of sports memorabilia hanging on the wall.... More

This place is convenient to go to before a game but the food and beer is horrible. The chicken tenders are frozen tenders and the fries were soggy and not fried to a crisp. Beer is not cold and overpriced. You are better off going drink and eat in the park.

Wanted a burger before the game ... Although it's a pretty good place to stay cool on a humid August Houston day, the lower level was packed with visiting fans. We had a few Shiners and started with the cheese fries. I had a burger and added jalapeños. My hubby had the chicken Cesar sandwich and my teenage stepson had... More

This place is right across from Minute Maid Park which means it is packed before and after games. We went before a game and were lucky enough to get a table. The service was slow but that's to be expected when it's so crowded. However, our food order got messed up and some of our group didn't get what we... More

Fun before the baseball game. Good food and a fun place to hang out before you go to the game. Right accross the street from Minute Maid Park.

While this bar is convenient to Minute Maid Park, there are way better establishments to visit within walking distance from the park. The drinks are overpriced here and the bar staff mediocre. Also, as a heads up, there is a $15 minimum to open a credit card tab.

The food was terrible and I only wish I went into the stadium for food and a beer. Lousy bread, oil-soaked fries and beer in plastic cups; I've had better options at frat parties for BOTH. And the $50 spent on food I wouldn't give to my dog would have gone a long way in the stadium. And this is... More

My friend read that this was the place to eat if you see a game in Houston. Well, said friend failed to mention right before or after the game. Went during lunch and it was completely empty. Had one waitress on shift who was on her phone but did take time out to wait on us. My friends burgers were... More
