The service was very good and very pleasant. The food itself was average. Nothing very spectacular. Guacamole was somewhat bland. Two of the salads on the menu were actually the same - the difference being that one was chopped. Somewhat pricey for what we got. If I went back - it'd be in a pinch.

Stopped in with my son and family on a weeknight over the holidays. Chips and salsa are standard. The margarita flight was a fun way to sample--the Mambo was particularly good. They have quite a varied menu that includes soups, salads and seafood dishes as well as the usual chicken, pork and beef. They also have some items that could... More

I've been here several times for different occasions (lunch, dinner, group HH, HH) and the food & service is always good. I'm not usually a sangria girl, but I must say, they do not disappoint! And I love the pointy leaf thingy in the glass!

I went to Mi Cocina my very first day in Dallas. I enjoyed the atmosphere of the uptown location. However I enjoyed the convenience of the MacArthur location. If you go you must have the mambo taxi. Happy Hour is the best.

The food and atmosphere were festive and I was very happy that I chose to go to MiCocina. I had the most delicious mango margarita!!! A definite repeat experience.

We visited here during a stay over for a Cowboys game. Pleasantly surprised with the choices we made ordering queso blanco, tacos al carbon, nachos with beef fajitas and house margaritas. Interestingly they use prime rib versus the flank steak we are used to. The beans were awesome! We had a ton of food and drinks for about 70 bucks... More

We visit Mi Cocina only when we do not want to drive to Gloria's. Mi Cocina NEVER has drink specials and the food is overpriced. On our last visit the service was very slow. I am so happy that Gloria's is popping up all around Mi Cocina locations. Perhaps this will put a fire under Mi Cocina to start having... More

Dined here while in town for business. Thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Had the chicken quesadillas and found it to be quite tasty with fresh guacamole...even shared w my son. Would dine here again.

An acquaintance and I went for a quick lunch at Mi Cocina one Saturday afternoon. I ordered my old faithful quesadillas and my acquaintance ordered fajitas but wanted to substitute shrimp instead of chicken. Apparently, this is a big deal at Mi Cocina--the manager had to be consulted before the waiter could make it happen. Sigh. Once the fajitas arrived,... More

Very laid back Tex-Mex style. Drink menu is a bit small. Food Menu looked great with plenty of different choices. We ordered the guacamole which was good in taste and portion. I had the brisket tacos - very bland beef and the taco shells were soggy. Prices are not that bad so I did not feel like I was robbed.... More
