Actually I dont. But lakehouse, catfish, clams, shrimp plus coleslaw are fantastic once a year. 36.00 for 2 refillable meals. Great staff, nice to watch river. Secret. Go 4-6 pm not crowded normally. Otherwise, expect nasty tourist crowd.

I come here just about every time I come to Kerrville. I always have the Fried Catfish Plate with 3 sides are lunch. Everything is very good and great service.

I've been coming to the Lakehouse since I moved to Kerrville in 2001. I remember when it was Catfish King and the food was very good. When it changed hands, the food and the staff, for the most part, stayed the same. This isn't a fancy place but it's clean, the service and food are very good. I usually order... More

I thought this was an all fried place but had the grilled shrimp salad and it was very good. Good prices and lots of food.

I've been going to this restaurant for over 25 years, and I've never been disappointed! There catfish always arrives very hot and fresh, and I have an excellent baked potato and they serve everything on the side so you add as much of the ingredients as you would like. They offer daily specials, but I tend to just get the... More

Each time my husband and I come to Kerrville to visit my father-in-law, we always eat at the lake house at least once or twice. The food is so delicious and fresh!! My father-in-law loves their soups and their chips and salsa that comes with soup and sandwich entree! MaryAnn is a wonderful waitress....we are always THRILLED when we get... More

Love their Sunday lunch special! Fried Chicken just like Grandma use to make with mashed potatoes and green beans withe a roll! Their catfish is great too. My hubby always gets catfish because he knows he is going to get the leg, just can't eat 3 pieces of fried chicken!!

The Lakehouse has wonderful food and a great view of the Guadlupe river. Had the Country fried sirloin steak, it was fantastic

We had fried catfish, sweet potato fries and fried okra for lunch. Everything was cooked well and tasted just right. We enjoyed our lunch here. After lunch, we watched a pair of swans on the lake which is just behind the restaurant, nice !

Our first - and probably last visit. It is an unpretentious environment, but unlike many Kerrville area restaurants which are similarly plain, the food and service were disappointing. I had grilled Tilapia, which was flavored properly but was overcooked and dry. My wife had a fried popcorn shrimp salad. The greens were fresh, but the shrimp were mostly batter and... More
