This is a nice little spot for typical diner food with a southern persuasion to it. Staff is friendly and service is quick. Nothing complicated about the menu simple straight forward. Pancakes are fluffy hash browns crispy the sausage patty was cold and the eggs over cooked but overall a nice relaxing place.

The Circle Café is a great place for a good, home-cooked breakfast instead of the "fast food" available all over town. Try the eggs, bacon, hash browns and toast - delicious! Good, down home atmosphere and affordable prices with great service.

Circle Cafe is a typical small East Texas cafe with linoleum floor and pine-paneled walls covered with pictures and posters of John Wayne and misc. farm items. Waitresses were friendly, but very busy with a constant flow of customers. Plenty of seating, tables and booths, even when parking lot appeared full. Breakfast was not low-cholesterol - I had fried eggs... More

Wife and I have ate lunch and breakfast there this month and have really enjoyed both meals. The portions are very generous and have been cooked to order. The place is very clean and you are likely to see anyone from an oilfield worker to your local hometown banker or school superintendent. Best of all the place is SMOKE FREE... More

A few years ago, the place was filled with oil field workers and no telling what. Nowadays, you will likely find a variety of local folks. The food is good and the service isn't bad, but it is a little tricky to find unless you live in the area.

This was a quaint cafe with a definite western flair. There were pictures of John Wayne all over the place with little 'isms' by him. The food was very tasty and at good vaue. I would eat here again when passing through the richest acre in the world - Kilgore, TX.

I had the chicken fried chicken dinner with a salad and pecan pie today (11-09-13). The cafe was exceptionally clean, service was freindly and super excellent, and food was very well prepared. The cafe reminded me so very much of the local restaurants I went to while I was growing up in Iowa. They have an extensive display of John... More

My wife and I went to TJ's Circle Cafe in Kilgore for breakfast on Saturday. As my wife said "You can tell you are in East Texas when the people coming out the door are smiling and say howdie". The placed was full and the waitresses were scurrying around. You can sit where you want and it won't be long... More
