I stopped in after school to take advantage of their take-out Blue Plate Special of the day. It was early, yet they greeted me with a smile and a free appetizer and peach tea while I waited. I really needed that. Was that nice or what? Both were delicious, too. That day's special was King Ranch Chicken. Mmmmmmm...All the fixin's... More

Modest in appearance outside, it's a bistro in the making. Great service with character and charm, the owner is throwing himself into the ramping up of this restaurant into a great future destination spot - if you can get a reservation (You'll be needing one in the future). Food was great, and lemon bars to die for (not to mention... More

The service was terrible as was the food. The prices were extremely high for less than average food. The worst part was the 20yr old waiter announcing to the entire place that the $100 bill I gave him was fake. I explained that it was an old bill and he could use the marker to check it. He loudly stated,... More

Came here for lunch during Spring break week. Is in the former Milk Pail tearoom location. I ate at the Milk Pail several times -- and the menu for Simply Fresh was exactly the same. The food is not bad -- just average. I had the King Ranch casserole -- son had the tuna salad sandwich and daughter had the... More

This restaurant JUST opened. I saw an advertisement for it in the local newspaper and my husband and I decided to check it out. We went the friday night before Valentine's Day and we were the only couple in the restaurant! It was wonderful for us to have a private dining experience but we felt kind of bad for the... More

After reading some previous reviews, I wondered if those people went to the right place. We were very pleased with our server. And the food was delicious. My house salad was delicious and my husband thoroughly enjoyed his sausage quiche and soup. Our lemon zest cake dessert was light and delicious. We had a delightful lunch. Portions can be small... The food was terrible, and the prices high. If you were hoping for a good tea house, visit the holly berry down the street.

Watered down soup, nasty chicken salad, and stale bread! The only thing worth eating, were the potato chips.

We went there for dinner, the place was very clean and it had an old cute flair to it. We loved the place and we will go again for the chicken.
