It really was awful. Went on the recommendation of a friend, who was with us. (oh dear) Several dishes were unavailable. The red wine was chilled and tasted like it was from a barrel or a packet. The pork in red wine was poor and the hake I had was overwhelmed by garlic. Whoever was cooking even managed to overcook... More

Great food, lovely views and very friendly and accommodating owners. Must try the jalipino peppers. Worth booking if you want to sit on balcony.

Perfect for he village setting where we were staying. You wouldn't drive a great distance to eat here, but as our local was great. Small roof terrace gave good views, food was perfectly acceptable and a really nice attitude from owners.

Very friendly bar/restaurant that provides excellent food and drinks using local produce that is popular with locals, tourists and expats of all nationalities. We have visited a few times and have always had a great meal from tapas to a la carte. The staff are very friendly and swap between Spanish and English but have never found a language barrier... We dropped by on a Tuesday evening just after a rain storm. It was quiet but the owner greeted us and seated us at a table inside. We opted for a mixed salad to start that came with bread and aioli. Followed by grilled squid for my wife and a steak for me. Bothe meals were well presented and tasty.... More

Wed been walking in the mountains. It was hot. WE needed a beer or something cold to drink. Everything mid afternoon is shut .. but not Almassera Ba\r. Friendly and good cold beer. Thank you! Clearly popular with the Ex-Pats from the UK, but don't let that put you off

my wife and I visited this restaurant, the menu is set and price depends on the main, a number of courses also have a supplement of about 2.5 Euro. My wife opted for the salad starter (a supplement) but it was huge - main course size- it was good. I opted for the grilled goats cheese (a supplement) which was... More

This is an unlikely jewel in an unlikely place - Tormos, near Orba. As you approach, look out for signs. The food is really good and very reasonable, there's a lovely welcome, both English and Spanish are well catered-for. In good weather it's lovely to sit on the outside terrace. The wild mushrooms starter, live with onions and wild salmon... More
