I enjoyed a wonderful dinner at this very creatively designed restaurant. A bar, tables/chairs and a wonderful seating area with couches and tables for drinks. Nice selection of wines. I tried a "flight" with my meal. Flight was just $12 and included three glasses of wine. The shrimp small plate was very tasty--wonderful spices. Large selection of small plates, as... More

So, we are foodies and love enjoying new restaurants whenever we travel. Well, first dinner in Lubbock was a success! La Diosa is fantastic. Great atmosphere with wonderful food and wine. Plus, our server Faren was just the sweetest. We will definitely come back!!!

Love every time I visit this place! The atmosphere is great and the sangria is the best in town. You can expect that the live music is excellent anytime someone is performing and the staff is very friendly.

Selected La Diosa Cellars for Wine and Tapas after reviewing Restaurants located near The Cactus Theater. Gabriel was an excellent waiter that was very attentive to our dining experience. We ordered several Tapas, a couple of bottles of outstanding wine and three choice desserts. Each Tapa was presented as we requested, we never felt rushed or without a delicious plate... More

I'd give this place 5 stars if they served beer! Other than that they served a very good meal and the service was great as well. We had a number of different tapas and all were excellent. The deserts were very good as well. Would we go back. Most definitely.

The tapas were delicious. They only serve wine, sangria (no beer.) We ordered three plates & all were tasty. The atmosphere was beautiful. Sangria was very yummy. Hostess was very sweet. The only downside was our waitress seemed a bit unfriendly, like we were inconveniencing her the entire time we were there. There was a band (please note $5 cover... More

The term "tapas" has come to mean just about anything served in appetizer or small plate sizes... you'll see "tapas" marketed at Korean, German, Mexican/Chinese and even Uzbekistani restaurants. Most of the Spanish tapas places I have visited have faded into memory. Fortunately, La Diosa still serves excellent dishes with an interesting wine menu. The venue is funky and as... More
