the food is actually ok, but we had a lot of misunderstanding and other problems. some dishes of the day was not there, we got food not ordered, and other issues. (we ended up with getting the cremant and an extra glass of wine for free), but the overall experiance was not good

I m sad to write this review because people in this hotel and restaurant are very kind. But if you want a nice alsacien diner avoid this restaurant you could have a bad opinion. My advice to the boss : - train your waiters to make them more efficient - avoid big title for your dishes as your cooking is... More

We had a great dinner at La Cave du Bailli, with fine food paired with local wines. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, we had a thoroughly satisfying experience.

We stopped in for a nice lunch. My husband ordered the sauerkraut with 5 meats and I had the bacon, onion tarte flambee gratinee. We split a salad with warm cheese which was delicious. Our meal came with small baguettes. We were very full so we could not order dessert even though they looked delicious. This restaurant is fairly priced... More

... This is a proper upscale restaurant with no hint at all of a pub atmosphere. The ambiance is very nice, down in the cellar with exposed natural stone and brick walls. Historic, yet clean and modern. The service was quite friendly. And this wasn't an easy night: it seems to have been the only place open for dinner in... More

This is actually part of family owned winery which one can also visit and have some wine tasting. The restaurant itself is great, the food is so good and service was very prompt. Desert was probably the best, melting chocolate.

A fun place for a simple lunch (although I think one can order more substantial fare). My husband ordered a Tarte Flambee Gratinee and I had the Tarte a l'oignon. Although we were ordering at the end of the lunch service, both 'tartes' were fresh, hot, and very tasty. My onion tart came with a salad that would have made... More

We had visited Bergheim before and had had a lovely experience. This time, we stayed at the hotel La Cour du Bailli (which is very nice) and the evening meals were included with the room. Every dish was ok but disappointing: a tiny piece of Munster cheese in a pastry crust with some nasty cabbage salad, cheap vanilla ice cream,...... More

Bergheim was our stop for lunch when we did the Route d'Vins Alsace. We chose this restaurant because the courtyard looked really nice, but inside of the restaurant was so quaint that we chose to dine inside. I had cold foie gras as an appetiser and fish steak as my main course. The waitress who could speak little English, but... More
