Worth A Visit

The Tapas was delicious and generous The hard-working man from Montréal was hard-working and efficient . All in all, it was a lovely experience in a lovely settings

SUCH A CHILLED OUT PLACE

Great find , stopped off for drinks , then more drinks, them great tapas , great staff. so relaxing that we we went back a couple of days later which going to the same place twice is something we don,t normally do.

BEST restaurant in Benalmádena Pueblo!

Lovely food in a perfect location. The staff were very friendly, shoutout to John & Terry! When we return next year to Benalmádena we will certainly be returning to this great restaurant to enjoy the great food again!

Lovely setting

This restaurant is in a lovely setting and the staff are very friendly and attentive. The food was plentiful but mostly British and uninspiring. Lovely place to sit and have a drink though

Yummy tapas

We called in today and had the Sunday tapas menu. Caprese salad, which was delicious with patatas bravas and tempura chicken, cooked perfectly, with very tasty sauces and reasonably priced. Great, friendly service too

Great location, menu and staff.

Located just off the main route through the town in a small intimate square. Amazing menu choices, great value for money and generous portion sizes. Quality of food and wine was superb and the staff were great. Street entertainment was good.

Best meal we have had in Benalmadena

Can't recommend the tapas menu more highly, tempura was deliciously light, prawns beautifully cooked and bruchetta was divine... would go again

A must if your in the area for any length of time

Another restaurant we have visited before when staying in the Pueblo but in their old location The new location is even better, beautiful square on an evening on the Main Street down to La Niña The food is as good as it’s always been Really...can’t fault it at all, we will carry on returning I’m sureMore

A lovely friendly restaurant in one of the most attractive pueblos in Andalucia. Waiters wearing large sombreros and big smiles welcome you to their tables. Service is spot on and the food and wine are delicious. We had two visits to the pueblo on our...recent holiday, and both times we dined at the Lilac Tree. The waiter from Canada is worth a mention for his charm and efficiency. Next time we're in this part of the world, we'll be back.More

Great tapas in cozy sorroundings

Try it

Went to The Lillac Tree for the third time. In 2021 and 2022 we had tapas but this time we tried another menu. I can only say: Try it! Good food, nice staff and good prices.

Tapas in the Pueblo

A lovely new setting in the Pueblo. Great Tapas, tasty, nicely presented and all reasonable prices. Wine was very pleasant. Wishing you Terry and the staff lots of success in the new venture.

Sorry for the delay in responding. Yes there are a number of bars around the Pueblo, all in walking distance. We also have a bar, separate from the restaurant where you can have a drink. Hope to meet you soon.

Or, turn down Calle Real from the main road, turn left after La Cepa and left again onto Calle San Jose. The Lilac Tree has a sunny terrace here.
