We came across the Plaza Ole one afternoon near the end of our holiday. It's a lovely little square between the main road and promonade near to the Alay Hotel and apartments. Liking the look we decided to return later that evening. We were met by Norm and Edina who are the friendliest hosts we met during our stay in... More

We stumbled across this little bar in search of wifi and cocktails. We were welcomed in by a very jolly Irish gentleman who owns the bar and he soon became the highlight of our visits there. we enjoyed great banter every time. excellent service and very reasonable prices so worth a visit if your walking past.

only went in for drinks a few times, so can't comment on the food. but, like so many of the other reviews say, Norman is very welcoming & will make you feel at home. great location just away from the Marina in a quaint square at good prices. Great place for a relaxing drink.

We returned to Benedict’s Bar for a second time, after firstly going there in April 2013. Norm and Edina gave us a warm welcome and were again attentive hosts. During our weeks stay we visited them on three occasions, each time eating. Food and ambiance fantastic, we ate in various other restaurants during our stay, theirs was the best quality... More

Only open in the evenings. Set in a lovely square with fountain in the middle. There are bars and restaurants set around the square. Some open all day but most only open in the evening. Great lively atmosphere. Well worth a visit.

A great little place, with such friendly people running it, deserves to be number two after Buddy's, after we found this square, we always tried to have an evening drink and chat here.
