Had a nice breakfast here today. Good service. Seems to have a lot interesting menu items available for breakfast so I will be coming back. Today I had a tasty hollandaise omlette.

Like everyone else says- best Benedict I've ever had (and its a go-to for me). There's something in the hollandaise that really makes the dish stand out, I just can't seem to place my finger on it. Service was quick and friendly. Prices are good. This is a large place once you get inside- lots of folks in and out.... More

A long wait but it is worth it. Lots of food, quick and friendly service and knowledgeable staff. The food is great and the portions are large. I have had several meals there and always leave with a box of left-overs for a snack later. Great for Breakfast or lunch but there seems to always be a long line. The... More

Great mom and pop spot that is always busy, always a good sign! Don't let the line scare you, they turn the tables quickly

It is a typical 1980's style restaurant. Large menu selection. We are always looking for breakfast places that offer a big variety of choices and this place certainly fits the bill. The food is very good, and they are generous with their servings. The staff is friendly, the service quick. It holds a good size crowd and by the time... More

We have been here several times and it is always a winner. The eggs benedict is delicious, as is the pot roast. The service is efficient and the prices are more than fair. You will not leave hungry!

This was our first time at Poor Richard's despite having lived in Plano for a long time. My breakfast -- eggs benedict -- lived up to the hype. Huge portion for only $7.99 and it came with a large portion of home fires which were seasoned and fried up just right. Long line on Sunday after church, but as others... More

12/31/2016 My husband and I decided to try Poor Richard's for breakfast due to all the hype online reviews. It was located about 20 minutes from our hotel and in a strip center where there was an Aldi and a Thrift store. When we arrived (10:38ish) there was a line but as the reviews stated it did move fast.(est.15 min... More

The breakfast menu is incredible and the prices are very reasonable. Everything tastes like you made it at home. Do not be scared off by a long line at the door because they seat you very quickly. The restaurant is very large and they can seat many people quickly.
