Always good food and great selection. Host and waiters are always very personable and attentive. Small old home makes for a nice small and comfortable dinning.

Ok! I've been there 3 times in the past week. It's that good! I started with the New Jersey Grinder, a perfect blend of meats and vegetables. The flavors were competing with each other making me savor the experience, the bread was extra ordinarily crisp - perfect. I then returned for the Ruben sandwich, it was perfect, like it came... Plenty of meat on the sandwiches for a good price. We had new jersey grinder and the royale. Both we very good. Quick from time of order to time of sandwich. For people who have never been, grab a menu off of the bar, then go down the hall to order.

We had dinner again this evening. They change their menu every month. This month they brought back their Peasant Chicken, which is excellent. I believe the owner told us that there are over 20 spices in the seasoning. We also had the Beef Tenderloin Stroganoff, which was extremely good. We would highly recommend both of these.

The food (I had wonderful scallops and a "poor man's risotto" that was better than any real risotto I've ever had)...After, a pumpkin cheese cake that was excellent as well. Great service and a nice arty atmosphere. Even our traditional steakhouse colleagues loved... More

We have dined at Peasant Village on many occasions and never been disappointed. Chef Jason's tenderloin, seafood and desserts are delicious and the atmosphere is comfortable and casual for a fine dining restaurant. I highly recommend it!

I have not had dinner there yet, but their sandwiches at lunch are outstanding. It doesn't matter which one you order, they are all great! My favorite is the Reuben just because I like Reubens ha!

I can not tell you how amazing this food was, along with a staff any 5 star restaurant dreams of having. My fiancé and I had the waitress Angela and she was wonderful. I traveled from Pennsylvania to visit my fiancé who is in the AirForce down here in San Angelo and we went out to peasant village for my... More

One of the best restaurants in San Angelo. Chef and owner Jim is a local, providing personal attention to all of his guests. Food quality, seasons and flavor are exceptional.
