I've always enjoyed eating here but the last few times we've been here the service hasn't been good. I know we all have those days but this keeps happening. Today was bad. Once we were seated the hostess had to come take our drink order. Once we finally ordered food I ordered the combo fajitas without the beef but with... More

Me and my husband stopped in after the lunch rush, we were seated, took about 5 minutes before the waiter came by to take our drink order. At the time he had come to take our order I had read the menu twice so I pretty much knew what I wanted I also asked for corn tortillas and butter which... More

Hello Jackie, My name is Robert Spencer and I am the GM of El Chico in Sherman. Thank you for taking the time to let us know how were doing. I'm very sorry that your dining experience was not up to par. We take great pride in both our food and service. It disheartens me when we fail in either... More

Get a Frozen Mexican Dinner at Walmart Instead. That is what they are going to bring you here. The atmosphere is okay, but there are better Mexican restaurants for good authentic food in this area.

Terrible food for a cheap price. Gross tortilla chips, nachos were served on broken in half taco shells and brownie was as cold as ice cream and gummy. I ate my enchilada with a spoon because there was hardened shredded cheese on my fork. Nobody cared.

We always enjoy eating here. We live about 30 minutes away and we will usually drive in a couple times a month to eat here. The food is good and the staff has always been pretty good. It's always clean! They have good chips and salsa and to me that can make or break a place. I usually get the... More

Stopped at El Chico after shopping next door at Lowe's. Hadn't been to an El Chico for a couple of years, last time I ate at the one closest to me in Tulsa was a terrible experience. Service was quick, efficient, and friendly. A basket of fresh chips and 2 dishes of spicy salsa appeared like magic. Hubby ordered queso... More

Almost didn't eat here because reviews weren't great but decided to anyway. So glad we did. Salsa was great, enchilada plates were good and margaritas were excellent!

A pretty standard Tex-Mex sit-down restaurant. The santa fe queusodilla was great, and the burrito by you option was good as well. The chips were light and the house salsa wasn't too spicy. Our server was attentive despite being pretty busy, and we got our food in not much time at all.

One of my favorite Tex-Mex places to eat. Had not been there in a while and the recent dining experience was top-notch! The parking lot was full on a Friday night, but we went in and did not have any wait time. Found a nice 2-seat booth in the bar area. Thought perhaps the service would not be as good... More
