When we moved to Coppell in early 2000's our go to Tex-Mex was Anamias. Loved it. Lately, not so much. Ate at the one in Southlake today and meh. Queso just cheese flavored with lack of complexity. Beef taco meat had off flavor. Cheese enchiladas lacked flavor. Too many good Tex-Mex places to waste money at Anamias. A Shame.

Guacamole was awesome. Food was good but we felt rushed. It was ridiculous...and there were plenty of empty tables. This was a Sunday afternoon. I was really looking forward to an afternoon out but was really disappointed. Not going back.

It's good stuff. Relaxed atmosphere. Free chips and salsa. Has all the classics and some new takes on some of them.

Can be dark to read a menu (for those of us over 50), but have never had slow service nor sent a meal back ... everything has been wonderful. Festive atmosphere but in an upscale way. Very clean and easy access from 114 just on 1709/Southlake Blvd.

My wife and I went here for dinner with 2 other couples while in the area for a week. Great service and delicious food. Forget what it was called, but my wife and I shared a meal for two off of their menu...perfect choice!

We've been here a few times and although it stays fairly busy, we've never had to wait long. There is patio seating, which is great now that it's cooler out. The food is good, and very reasonably priced. We shared fajitas and tortilla soup, and our total dinner was just over $20- WAY cheaper than most other fajitas of this... More

We visited Anamia's Tex Mex & had an incredible experience! Ceasar, our waiter, was fast, knowledgable & fulfilled our needs before we knew we needed anything. The food presentation was great, hot & had excellent flavor! Jorge, the manager visited our table & was such a pleasure to talk with. They made us feel at home!

They are really disorganized. Waited 45 minutes and didn't get in because they couldn't get the table. And they had two empty tables. Food is good but the wait is not worth it. That's why people go to Taco Bell instead.

We love Tex-Mex food, having lived in DFW for over thirty years. Anamia's is a lovely, upscale, family-owned Mexican restaurant in Southlake that has been open for years. The menu is extensive, the service is gracious, and the food is excellent. Highly recommend.
