Food is always cooked great and flawlessly seasoned. Small place, make reservations. Their desserts are almost the best part. They sell wine by the glass or bottle and have craft beer.

Old Town Spring is a collection of shops and restaurants about 30 miles north of downtown Houston. For the last forty years it has been a shopping and "girls day out" destination for people in north Houston, but the food options were generally limited to...More

Great find in old town spring. Food is a nice change of pace for the area with tasty choices and drinks, The mimosa's go well with any Sunday brunch item.

A friend and I went to the Black Sheep Bistro for Saturday brunch and the service was great but the food was average at best. The restaurant is an old house that's clean, quaint, and right off Main Street (parking is sketchy). It is surprising...More

So if you want a little New York style menu this is a uniquely cozy place to enjoy lunch or brunch. Prices are not to bad not to high but not to low. Located in Old Town Spring.

Nice little place. Doesn't look like much. Sea bass is very good. French press coffee at the table. Outside covered patio and porch dining.

I grew up in Houston and was in town for a visit. Friends recommended this gem in Old Town Spring. Our waitress was wonderful, but the food and wine was one of the best dining experiences of my life. Appetizers. We shared the duck and...More

Small restaurant with an amazing menu of fresh gourmet food. We had a dinner party on a Friday night for about twelve people. They were very accommodating to us. Food is incredible with things like lamb, seafood, steaks, and more. Chef cooks until he runs...More

Description
The Short version. Joe and I (Maria) moved to Houston in February of 2012. After a long weekend visit which we spent in The Woodlands in January of 2012, we decided to make a move, very spur of the moment. After returning from our visit, it only took a few days to decide to move. Eight days later, Joe packed his car armed with his chef knives, coats and bare necessities looking forward to a 3 day journey to Texas. We came down with no family ties, but with our families, no distance can keep us apart. So with their blessing, we were determined to make it work, and we did. I met Joe down here a month later with our dogs and a few belongings. Joe worked downtown as executive chef with the Mandola family on West Dallas Street, Up Restaurant in Highland Village and finally at Mo's "A Place for Steak" in The Galleria. The Rest, come in and we will tell ya!
