Stayed at the Rancho for our mini-moon after we were married by an ordained friend over migas in Austin and loved every minute of our stay! The first night we arrived, we lucked out and had the whole 'stay' to ourselves. Unfortunately, the restaurant was not open that evening, but we still enjoyed our meal at Rancho Pizzeria in town.... Best restaurant I've ever eaten at. PERIOD. Expensive, but worth it. Small atmosphere, outside first class firepit with couches to enjoy a glass of wine before dinner. You get to meet other people around the firepit, then eat with them later...Food quality and quantity is 5 star. Country ambience and friendliness is incredible...you can't find it in a city. Worth... More

Ranchers Lomo offers a really spectacular setting in the Texas hill country for a good getaway. The grounds and views are super. Toke a nice little hike along some pastures w sheep , longhorn etcetera. The accommodations are modern ranch chic. Frette linens in modern ranch rooms, very nice bed. A big shared deck along the 5 rooms is well... More

This bed-and-breakfast and small restaurant is a rare jewel. We ate two breakfasts and one dinner at Rancho Loma. This is true fine dining. There are no menu. You are served what the chef feels is best that day. I appreciated the fact that there are no condiments (salt and pepper) on the tables. The food is properly seasoned before... More

I love this unique place-this was the second time I have had the pleasure of eating here. Dinner this time was Akaushi ribeye-yum!! Enjoyed hanging around outside before dinner while our wine is being served to us. Wish I lived closer so I could visit more often. Hopefully one day we can stay overnight at Rest so we can experience... More

Beautiful accommodations, great people, excellent food. We visited from Seattle and would certainly return. A truly unique experience in the middle of rural Texas. Thank you for a great stay

Rancho Loma is something you would never expect to find in rural Texas. But then again, you couldn't imagine it anywhere else once you've been there. Robert and Laurie Williamson, the owners and operators, run a tight ship. Robert is a first-class entertainer and artist. He remodeled the old ranch house and created much of the furniture and art you... More

One of my best meals EVER. Dinner is served on Friday and Saturday nights only and the menu changes weekly. Make reservations early and be sure and bring your own wine! The prices vary each week depending on the week's menu. We ate and drank ourselves silly with unmitigated joy, but had planned for this and stayed at one of... More
