Nice restaurant, huge variety on desserts. Great for breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner. Must try benedict eggs my favorite lobster benedict, waffles, french toast. Huge selection on omelettes. Very good pastas, sandwiches, burgers and steaks.

This was our first visit to Black Walnut. Was planning on late breakfast on Saturday morning...so was everyone else. The line was very long. Fortunately for us, we don't mind sitting at the bar and two seats opened up rather quickly. We chose to eat lunch. The tortilla soup was good. Chicken salad was good but different. Bloody Mary was... More

Love the salads, always fresh and crisp... the grilled chicken is very tasty.... my spouse had the chicken Parmesan and enjoyed it... took some home for lunch the next day. Family oriented place. Also very nice to have a drink at the bar...and the gelato is worse a try... good!!!!

I liked the relax and cozy atmosphere to have dinner with my partner. The food was good and they open late with a good bar.

We don't always come here for breakfast, but when we do, it makes a nice change. The menu selection is good and varied and is always well prepared and tasty. Timing can be a bit hit and miss to avoid the crowds, but there is usually somewhere to sit without having to wait.

This was my first time. You order at the counter and are buzzed when food is ready. Smelled strange and stuffy in back. Enjoyed our company and the "Anderson's 'Bout Time" meal came with grilled chicken sandwich and side salad and was surprisingly really good although no sauce for sandwich. Not a huge portion but big enough to have room... More

I ordered the bowtie pasta with chicken. It was very bland and dry. The sun dried tomatoes was burnt. The worst I ever had. It was a disappointment. My daughter had the salad that looked like it was regular salad fixings just thrown together - reminded me of cafeteria salad but more salad. I was shocked on the quality. I... More

Black Walnut is a unique and awesome restaurant. When you get there, you look at a menu first then place your order at the kitchen counter. It's sort of a hybrid fast-food meets fine dining experience. The food is great and their full service bar is awesome too. They also have a nice variety of seating from high tables in... More

Came in looking for "Cafe" food (read burger). The Carnitas taco is a winner...even in here in taco-heaven Houston. The service was very professional...

Thank Alex M
