I've dined here a number of times and only been disappointed once. The chicken and grits is Fabulous. Pizzas are interesting, too. Last visit we selected the soup---crab and cheese, seemed the flour was undercooked, so the cheese, havarti really didn't shine. Two small pcs of crab on top, not much crab flavor. Mango wings were an interesting touch. We'll... More

Each time we visit the Leaning Pear they don't disappoint. Love the outdoor seating as well. Highly recommend!

Eating on the deck a pleasure in mid-Winter, food not outstanding but certainly adequate if not more.

Shared chicken curry, truffle mushroom pizza and chicken and grits. Great weather and super service. Very casual and relaxing.

What an absolute disappointment! We have always enjoyed dining at the Leaning Pear until our recent visit. Maybe they were having a bad day but there was no excuse for our cold entrees, burned pizzas and slow service. To add to the insult we were waiting for our bad food for over an hour. We were starving. With as many... More

Mouthwatering bite-to-bite and even now as I write this review. Remarkably done. We enjoyed our entrees as well, but the dessert is one for the history books.

Soups, Sandwiches and Salads are delicious. My favorite is the reuben, one of the best I've ever had. I have a friend from Waxahachie who comes to the Hill Country occasionally and always wants to have lunch at the Leaning Pear.

Twelve of us gathered for a friend's birthday party last weekend and it was delightful! The food was great (I had the Trio Salad) and we brought our own birthday cake from Sugar Shack to share. Highly recommend for your gathering.

My husband and I went to this restaurant after being recommended by the agent who checked us in at our B&B. It was wet and rainy out so we were grateful that we were able to be seated immediately when we arrived since the parking lot was full. The Leaning Pear offers a unique menu and came highly recommended so... More

Nice restaurant with a large amount of outdoor seating in addition to the indoor seating. Lovely view from patio area and inside. They also said that dogs are allowed in the outdoor eating areas. I ordered my meal to go. It was a good different. I had the BBLT with avocado, the Mac and Cheese, and a chocolate dessert that... More
