The hamburger was good and cooked to order rather than the obligatory "medium-well." It had a nice charcoal flavor and the dressings were fresh. I found the burger happily better than the average. Service was attentive without being smothering. This was my first trip there since it changed ownership and I was pleased. Beer was cold, burger and service were... More

Good food and outstanding, friendly service. The chicken fried steak is outstanding. Enjoy "The Buzzard Bar" with its great atmosphere, indoors and out. Big screen television for viewing sporting events.

I have been to Cypress Creek Cafe often but never had the tortillas soup until today. Boy was it bad. Tasted like a can of rotel tomatoes with a few tortilla strips in the soup. I could not eat it and would never order it again.

Went with my family on an outing, first time in Wimberley. Had a great time shopping, were told that this was a great place to eat. My son, a friend and I ordered the schnitzel it was very good, the mushroom gravy was awesome. I really loved the sauteed vegetables, great flavor. The grand-kids got the chicken fingers and those... Wimberley is a destination not to be missed, and Cypress Creek Cafe is a perfect spot for lunch or dinner! My favorites are the Texas Cobb Salad and the Tuesday special, Chicken Enchiladas. Open mic night, out back in the Buzzard Bar, is on Tuesday evening also, and there is live music Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights. A fun, casual... More

This cafe is in the cluster of tourist shops and we saw couples and families that looked like locals, that's a good sign. We had steak and a big salad, very good. Full bar.

Great place to hang out and catch a game and a beer. Check out their daily specials-their Scnitzel (Thursday) will fill anyone's large appetite and at around $10 is a great deal.

Had just rolled into Wimberly and was starving. Was wanting a steak and this cafe was recommended to us. I ordered steak, my husband a hamburger. The steak was tough and bland. The onion rings I ordered with it were delish. My husbands hamburger was fabulous. Maybe I just ordered wrong. Anyway, the service was good, atmosphere was great, and... More

Friendly staff but the food was not the greatest. The chicken fried steak was mostly fried and fell off as you cut it up. The gravy was good!
