Had lunch special, fried catfish and shrimp with black beans and sweet potatoes fries. Excellent servings. Server was excellent and very attentive. Tanner was our server. Highly recommend in hill country.

Every time we adventure in Wimberley I want to eat here. I've never had a bad dish at this place! It reminds me of home-cooking. I usually get their half turkey club sandwich and Tortilla soup! You just can't beat the prices here. The last time we went, my fiancé got the "Texan" burger and OMG!!! The prime rib meat... More

Stopped in for a mid-afternoon beverage and snack. Good selection of beers and the service was excellent. Just had a snack, so can't really comment on the food. What we had was great. Looks like they are set up for live music also. Great spot to stop in from afternoon of shopping in Wimberley.

Great country restaurant at the front, serving burgers, chicken fried steak, pasta & a decent selection of beers. Service was good. And then go to the Buzzard Bar @ the rear to enter a whole new world: live blues band, dance floor, great atmosphere.

The hamburger was good and cooked to order rather than the obligatory "medium-well." It had a nice charcoal flavor and the dressings were fresh. I found the burger happily better than the average. Service was attentive without being smothering. This was my first trip there since it changed ownership and I was pleased. Beer was cold, burger and service were... More

Good food and outstanding, friendly service. The chicken fried steak is outstanding. Enjoy "The Buzzard Bar" with its great atmosphere, indoors and out. Big screen television for viewing sporting events.

I have been to Cypress Creek Cafe often but never had the tortillas soup until today. Boy was it bad. Tasted like a can of rotel tomatoes with a few tortilla strips in the soup. I could not eat it and would never order it again.

Went with my family on an outing, first time in Wimberley. Had a great time shopping, were told that this was a great place to eat. My son, a friend and I ordered the schnitzel it was very good, the mushroom gravy was awesome. I really loved the sauteed vegetables, great flavor. The grand-kids got the chicken fingers and those... Wimberley is a destination not to be missed, and Cypress Creek Cafe is a perfect spot for lunch or dinner! My favorites are the Texas Cobb Salad and the Tuesday special, Chicken Enchiladas. Open mic night, out back in the Buzzard Bar, is on Tuesday evening also, and there is live music Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights. A fun, casual... More

Our landmark building has served as a gathering place and restaurant since 1937. We offer a variety of hill country comfort food, a full bar and live music in The Buzzard Bar, every weekend. Dine on our covered patio in the back where friendly dogs are always welcome! Our annual Crawfish Boil in May with live music all day on the outdoor stage is not to be missed. This past year we collected donations for The Boot Campaign that assists our military veterans with family needs and aid. Please visit our website for daily specials, menus and a complete band line up. Lots of parking in our back lot. Open seven days a week. Hope to see you soon!
