Food is always good at a reasonable price. I usually order the chicken tostada with extra guacamole. Yum!

It's the best Mexican food in town, cafeteria style. Step up, order, and pay. Self-service drinks and no table service. We went because people were raving about it. I prefer spice and heat, food was on the milder side for me, but tasty and a...More
This is almost like a cafe rio knock off. The burrito was ok and you get a lot of extras included. For what is around this is probably good but not great.
Malena's is worth a visit if you're in the area and hunkering for some Mexican food. It's definitely satisfying, but not as good as so many high ratings suggest. Nor would I call this place "authentic." It's really a clone of the Cafe Río and...More
The line was really long and if you've never been there the set up is a bit confusing. The staff was not friendly or helpful in any way.

If you are a fan of Costa Vida's you will like Malena's Cafe. A very clean location with a nice family feel. The food was fresh and delicious. The tres leche cake was very good. My only complaint is that the Coke FreeStyle Machine was...More
Comparable to Cafe Rio but more food at a better price is is just a question of if you like their sauces and rice as well. Area clean and nice for eating
large variety of fresh ingredients for some excellent burritos. I wanted tot try the Tamale Special but they were sold out, so what does that tell you....thats right great food.
You won't leave here hungry. Portions are large and relatively inexpensive. Friendly atmosphere, and very fast service.
