Friendly staff welcomed us into a busy, but not totally packed, dining room. The menu was filled with all the usual Thai dishes, and one or two slightly more unusual (at least to a Brit) dishes. The thing that made this place stand out, though, was the 'spice-scale' - the bottom of the menu explained that dishes were rated on... More

I lived in Thailand and this is one of the better Thai restaurants in Utah. The menu is large and they seem to have lots of authentic dishes, including khao soi, a delicious northern noodle curry not easily found. I had the sweet and sour chicken. The flavor was good, I asked for a little spiciness and the level was... More

Don't be fooled by the appearance of this unassuming Thai restaurant in Midvale. It's authentic and it's really, really good. Traditional Thai dishes that are made from absolute scratch, combined with vibrant seasonings and fresh ingredients makes Chabaar one of the best Thai restaurants in the West and hands down the best in Utah. Most Thai menu items can be... More

Loved the options of this restaurant for the level of heat in your entree! Yes, I went with more heat than I could handle but who knew a "2" out of 9 would be that much? If you haven't been, listen to your sever! Do it doubt! The food was awesome but next time I need to dial it down... More

Went because of its high rating on trip advisor, and went back because it was so great! The place looks like it used to be a diner type of place so the layout and look may seem weird or off putting-- but looks Can be deceiving! The food here is excellent! I've heartily enjoyed everything I've tried. The presentation is... More

The food was excellent in every way. This was my 2nd time going and I took my wife here because my experience was so good the 1st time. I had some of the best curry dish that I've ever had. Everything I had tasted perfect. This restaurant now is my favorite Asian Thai food restaurant.

Doesn't look like much on the outside - but great on the inside. Inviting and charming. Food is always great(I've eaten at their sister restaurant more, but Chabaar's food has never disapointed.)

We had just gotten back from visiting Thailand, and we thought we tried this place and we were so impressed!!! The flavors are authentic, absolutely not watered down or sweetened to appease foreign tastes. They also serve American food, probably cause they don't compromise! I LOVE this place!

Thank Cindy S
